I have a few cups of coffee every week. I like to mix it, and I've gotten pretty good at it if I say so myself. Generally, my coffee contains one part coffee, one and a half parts milk, chocolate syrup, a sprinkle of cinnamon and more sugar than you want to think about.
I have put liquor in my coffee, and I wouldn't call it a disaster, but I definitely used way too much peppermint snapps last time. The problem is, I'm very good at making coffee drinks but not good at mixing cocktails. Willow makes wonderful cocktails but isn't allowed to even touch the coffee machine. It isn't pretty.
I have some frozen coffee cubes right now, so I could go and make myself a mocha slushie, which is a wonderful thing, especially on hot, lethargic days. I'm going to tell you now, if you're going to make coffee slushies, the secret is to add the sugar before you freeze the coffee, but not the milk. The sugar won't melt properly in cold coffee, and freezing milk effects it's mouth feel and flavor in seriously detrimental ways. Also, adding the liquid milk to the frozen coffee makes it blend better, so adding the milk as it blends is just an overall good thing. This is also when you add the chocolate syrup.
And, if you can't have Kittywitch in your house, then you'll have to buy the
most awesome coffee maker in the world. And you know I don't use the word "awesome" unless I am filled with awe.
