However, you may not stay within my domain unless you become pledged to me. I do not allow the lingering of those who are not mine or my allies followers."
Ling took advantage of the loosened grip and wriggled his way out of the tentacles to perch upon the darkness god's tail, holding onto one of the tentacles with his regular hand as not to fall off. He 'looked' up at the god's large face in silence a mild look of contemplation on his face. He would not deny that he liked darkness, nor could he deny that this being exuded and seemed to be that very thing he liked so much. Then his mind wandered to how much this being that was what he liked so much liked another so much. This thought brought a slight frown to his lips. His antenna twitched and he thought what he would have if he had to leave now, having felt the cool, embracing darkness that he did here and in the Darkness god's presence. He weighed the options carefully considering before he would decide. "One wishes to remain in thy dark presence." He said in the most humble tone he had yet to show. Then he turned his head away, not that this affected what his antenna 'showed' him. He could continue to love darkness even if darkness itself had other or greater loves than him. It wasn't like darkness would hate him, but he was a selfish being.
