"So . . . "
The Jirachi tilted his head at her voice.
"How will we do this?" Cetus asked.
"I don't know," the Jirachi replied. "Do you have nightmares every time you sleep?"
"No," the grunt replied, shaking her head. "Just when I sleep at night. Only than."
The Jirachi turned, examining his reflection again. "Than how am I to solve the problem?" he asked, his voice not directed to her but left to drift in the air as an open thought. When the epiphany hit, he swung back around and studied her face. "Unless I induce it."
Cetus was taken aback by the thought. "You can do that?"
"If you'll allow me, yes." Altais replied. "But you'll need to go to sleep yourself."
Cetus shook her head. "I don't think . . . I can do that."
"Have one of your Pokemon do it."
"I- Okay."
The grunt's fingers slid along the many Pokeballs on the bracelet of her right hand. Which one? Finally, her decision was made. Plucking the sphere off and pressing the middle, the ball grew to its original size. In silence, it popped open and out came her Milotic in a flutter of shimmers. Deneb Kaitos searched about, studying the legendary and his owner from the floor of Hotel Morning's suite -- her and Osmond's room. What was going on?
"Are you ready?" Cetus asked the legendary, to which she received a nod.
"Prepared when you are," Altais replied.
"Deneb Kaitos, use Hypnosis." The Milotic turned to the legendary, prepared to signal out the attack, but paused when Cetus added, "On me."
The Milotic paused and started shaking his head. He refused to put his owner under, especially on such a suspicious command! At his hesitance, Cetus glared.
"Deneb Kaitos, do it!" she blared and the serpent shivered as he sent translucent beams from his own mind to his trainer's.

The beams struck like a slap to the face. Slumber overtook her entire body suddenly, relaxing every slackened muscle, and Cetus's body tumbled under her own weight. Deneb Kaitos caught her with his fan-like tail. Altais motioned him to one of the beds.
"Put her down here," he said and the Milotic nodded, slithering over and gently placing the green-haired woman's body down onto the plush mattress.
Altais trailed over and hovered over her face. Pressing the palm of his hand to her forehead, he concentrated on his first step. Nightmare. Come its use, a single pulse of dark energy drifted from his arm to Cetus's mind. Her eyebrow crinkled as the attack took effect, taking her directly to her terror immediately.
The legendary Pokemon looked over her form one last time before preparing himself for her procedure. This was the first time he was doing it to a human, but he's used similar methods several times, mostly on himself. Due to his long moments of hibernation, Altais has mastered the art of lucid dreaming. He could control his own dreams, but when his mind drifted to a hostile plane when he lost concentration for a moment-- in other words, to a nightmare -- he could calm himself and set himself on a more peaceful track. He was hoping he could use a similar method to solve Cetus's problem.
Taking a deep breath, Altais began. Calm Mind. At the thought of the move, his body immediately calmed. All jitters in regards to to the procedure disappeared. His concentration was nonexistent as he entered a meditative state. With step two complete, he moved on to step three. It was time to wait.
