Sounds cool, are we going to be like a party of adventurers? kinda like a D&D campaign but with an Ivalice Setting?
We could use the jobs and stats provided by the games and have a leader character to be the narrator. Maybe they could take a chunk of the maps used in FFT or FFXII that wasn't explored, make a close up version and limit the roleplay to that area, or add more as they go?
I love the idea of having a narrator.
Having the focus on a small area will also help keep things centered (for now) and should force us to build a little bit of story with our characters. This is by no means copping out so we can just do a fandom version of Tactics, it's so things can be believable. We'll grow of course, and this will feel comfortable for anyone not used to roleplaying.
If it's ok with everyone, let's start small. The beginning scene could be something as simple as all of us standing in Gariland, listening to a captain give us our first mission. I know that's cliche, it's just an example.
