A laugh broke out from the pale green skinned woman, her bug like eyes forming to life as she snapped her gaze towards the leaf man. Her mind danced to life with idea's of scaring the small girl in hopes it would get her to better listen to her brother, she didn't sound like the type that she would be defeated by at the very least. "Why not have someone scare her when she enters the forest. That would teach her a lesson about venturing to far from home." The tactic was often used on the younglings back home to keep them from leaving their mother Aisha and in school. It had worked, so since she had assumed that his younger sister was much younger the only way about it was the same ploy used on children.
Pacju shifted where she was laying pulling herself into the lap of the Alkidike with a strong huffing sound before she settled back down quietly. Though she acted like an adult it was clear the Radoku was still a young one. Continuing to pet the beast now in her lap Maya continued. She was heavily entertaining the thought of scaring someone, it was like a rush she couldn't wait to get. "I could always do it for you, after all you know I wont hurt her."
Keeping her feet in the water she watched as a couple fish swam by them but the merriment in which she was currently encased in kept her from reaching out to catch them as prey to take home or possibly cook. Lifting a foot as she continued laughing, kicking up water with her feet into the air around them. Startling the baby in her laps and the fish around her feet. She hadn't laughed this hard in ages.

Jacin seemed to be considering the idea, would it work? Could it be possible to scare Kei into behaving? The answer he came back with was a resounding 'no' that was all but shouted in his mind, "It's an interesting suggestion but I fear that if you were to jump out at her and scare her that her first instinct would be to take a swing at you and I would feel a little guilty about that." From both sides in fact, he wouldn't want Maya punched and he wouldn't want Keilana punching others... especially members of a foreign tribe since that could very well get them on the bad side of the Alkidike women. He'd rather be on better terms, "Thank you though for the offer."
Allowing himself a moment to relax the leaf tribesman laid back on the ground, arms crossing behind his head, and he starred up at the sky, giving a smile as Maya splashed around a bit in the water, enjoying the sound of laughter. It was a rather relaxing sound, one that made him feel almost at home here. Maya was a nice sort, making him think that it might be neat to introduce Keilana to Maya, he wondered if they would get along, "If we were to meet again... do you think you might want to meet with Kei?" He asked of the his companion. He knew that he was going to have to get going soon, the color of the sky said that it was going to get to be late afternoon soon and if he wanted to make it back before the dark of night fell completely he would need to get moving at a quicker then normal pace. If he ran he should get back in time to get some food and crash but he was certain to be exhausted. Tomorrow would be a day where he didn't wander nearly as far as he had today, that was for sure, but the day after that he would need to be moving once more to meet Takoda for fishing. So much to do, so little time.
"I need to be on my way soon but I would like to meet with you again, under calmer circumstances, if you are willing?" He asked of Maya, deciding an open invitation was in order.

Maya watched Jacinthus with a nod of her head. "Yes under better circumstances things might go better. At least I wont be giving you another chance to claim having saved an Alkidike."
Maya was merely teasing internally she wondered, her track record of mistakes wasn't getting any better. "Most likely wouldn't be for a while unless you ventured into this forest. I don't plan to make any unnecessary length to healing this leg."
The Alkidikes antenna twitched when she thought about it, one of her sisters would notice she had been missing for much longer than normal. In turn that worry would send out another sister she lived with in search of her. Thankfully she was already at the waters edge where she usually swam so it wouldn't be long before she was found and helped home. If that didn't happen she could struggle home in a little while once her leg was better.

"If you like I can keep it a secret." He offered, then gave a bit of a smile, "I don't want to seem too heroic or anything, I will end up with a bunch of damsels looking to me to save them after all and who has the time for all of that?" Certainly not him, he had better things to do then having a bunch of women asking him to do various tasks because they had heard that he was one who went around always saving women. It couldn't be further from the truth really since he spent more time searching for things for his sister and tribe more then he did being a hero.
Looking at Maya's leg he gave a nod of his head, "Yeah, it's understandable that you might not be adventuring for a bit." He said, "As for when I come back to the forest next... well, I am not sure." He wanted to come back, to get more crystals, not to mention the animals that were out here that were worth hunting for, but he knew that he also had a lot to do back in Tale as well. He couldn't always be wandering as far as Jauhar after all, "I am sure I will be back eventually though." He was supposed to be going fishing sometime soon with Takoda after all... but that was a meeting that he meant to do one on one with his friend instead of inviting a bunch of others along.
"Will you be alright getting home?" He asked of her, knowing that if she was anything like his sister such a question wouldn't be the most welcome but it was still something he should ask since he wanted to make sure she would be alright when he headed on his way.

"A secret would probably be best." Maya agreed, her face remained emotionless as he mentioned her not wanting to travel. She may not have wanted to travel injured but that didn't mean she didn't still have the constant and nagging urge to explore the world around her. "Well it is a wonderful place to be." Maya wasn't lying she loved the forest more than any other place she had been to aside from her mother Aisha.
She didn't move to look back up at Jacinthus as she spoke. "I'll get home just fine now thank you. I do not need help getting there as I like to keep my home private." Hoping not to seem rude after a pause she finished. "I hope you understand." Lifting her feet in and out of the water slowly at that point.

Pushing up to his feet, while stretching out all the over the Leaf Tribesman looked over at the Alkidike girl and gave her a smile, "I am glad to hear that you will make it home alright and I completely understand wanting to keep you home a private thing." It wasn't as if he wanted anyone messing around with his things after all so why would Maya be any different? She probably had things that she wanted to protect and keep people from messing with as well, especially people from other tribes not often seen in this area.
"I hope that we cross paths again, Maya, until then get rest up and get better." He said, gathering up his things before he gave a way, turned, and started on his way. Since he wanted to see her again he wouldn't say 'good bye', instead he would just head on his way and hope that he was lucky enough to meet up with her again and that she would be feeling better when he did. For now he had much to think about and do, Jauhar it seemed was quite an amazing place when it came to food, treasure, and the people one could meet.
