Name: Soti, future Sage of the Forest
Fairy: Pinkin
Race: Kokiri
Gender: Female
Age: 16, appears 13
Height: 5' 3"
Personality: Soti is a bit blunt and frustrates easily, a result of the combination of her mental and physical maturity levels. Pinkin, her fairy, is a mother-figure of sorts to Soti, and worries constantly about her health, both emotionally and physically. The slowly increasing time she spends away from the Kokiri Village only increases this feeling of detachment, though it has given her new feelings of closeness with the forest around the Deku Tree. Soti has a habit of mispronouncing words she's unfamiliar with, especially names. Pinkin usually corrects her, but some people find the mispronunciations an extremely irksome habit. She makes friends slowly, though finds herself very close to the ones she has made.
Pinkin: Her fairy can speak when she likes, but prefers to speak only when Soti is alone, though she talks a great length when those moments arrive. She doesn't approve of Soti being away from the village, but sympathizes with her on her self-imposed exile. She loves Soti's music however, though occasionally offers a token resistance to her playing on the grounds of its sacredness.
Childhood: Born in the Kokiri village, where loving, and near-worship, of the Deku Tree was as much a part of their lives as in any temple. However, as she grew...and simply kept growing, beyond the young body of the usual Kokiri females, she was informally labeled a freak by the other younger Kokiris. Her height wasn't abnormal, but it was rare enough to make her stand out, at least half a head taller than the rest of the village. Though she did finally stop growing, and is now stuck (as is the way of Kokiri growth) in the body of a 13-year old child, the stigma of being the odd-child hasn't left her. She spent more and more time wandering the forest, conversing with the Koroks and listening to the wind whistle through the leaves.
Music: One of the Koroks taught her an instrument, a cello-like thing to a small Korok, though violin-sized to an over-grown Kokiri. However, only one Korok was permitted to play the instrument inside the village, occasionally calling it the "instrument of fate" for reasons unknown to Soti, though she suspects he's just being dramatic. The music was a part of the annual festival around the Deku Tree, held by the Koroks but attended by the Kokiri as well. For a Kokiri, an unusual one at that, to go about playing daily was kicking dirt on the sacred ritual, in the opinion of her fellow Kokiri, though the Koroks don't seem to mind. And so Soti spends ever more time in the forest, playing her wooden violin/cello, ignoring the pleas of Pinkin to return to the safety of the village. She plays it as a Korok would, facing outward and holding it upright, drawing the twig-like bow very gently across the front.
The Forest: The stigma of being away from Kokiri Village left her some time ago, and she's learned to love the forest outside the immediate sphere of the Deku Tree. She imagines it likes listening to her music, and that it responds to her when she plays. Which is crazy...right?
Abilities: Like most Kokiris, she's moderately skilled in alchemy, and has rudimentary magic of her own. She can 'feel' the mood of the forest, though only when in extremes. Through her music, she can get a better picture of the emotions of the trees and imagines she can feel the forest responding to her when she plays.
Espers: None yet.
