The Reaper attached itself to the Mass Relay and began to resonate with it. It made the relay begin to glow red instead of blue and suddenly it jumped. "Dakyrr this is the Prima. We....we've lost the Reaper...." Dakyrr hung his head low in despair. It seemed that the galaxy was about to fight a second Reaper war; one that they were not at all ready for. As the shuttle docked with the Prima, Dakyrr moved quickly to the bridge. "Have they found where the Reaper escaped too?!" The helmsman looked back at Dakyrr and shook her head. "There are no reports of Relay activity within the past five hours. It's like the Relay sent the Reaper out of the galaxy."

Garrus stays alongside Dakyrr but Nema was in the medical room trying to help her brother anyway she can. Garrus looks at Dakyrr then said,"So there is no way to track it down..What should we do sir?" Nema was still in the rom fixing up Cearo then she looks at him but she walks out of the room and she saw Dakyrr and Garrus hoping she can at least hear something good.

Carter sighs before punching a nearby wall. "Okay it's not that bad right? I mean even if it escaped it's not like it has alot of friends to back it up now so this isn't going to be as bad as last time it can't be." He would only admit it to himself but the prospect of another Reaper war made it feel like there was a ball of ice in his gut.

"This can only get as bad as we let it. Last time we had a narrow victory thanks to Commander Shepard, but without Shepard I'm not sure if we'll be ready...." Dakyrr got to the bridge with his team. He observed the battlefield for a second. The Cerberus fleet began to alter course and jump out of the system. "....Set a course for Eden Prime, the council will want to hear about this." The helmsman nodded and began tapping away at the console. One of the Alliance ships followed.

Nema came out of the infirmary and then she said to Dakyrr,"We must at least try to succeed even if Commander Shepherd is not here now, we must what we can on our own.."

Carter tapped his left foot, arms crossed, and lost in thought. Finally he looks up and walks over to Dakyrr. "Hey you know what stop being so glum. Sure there is no Shepard but it wasn't like he had magic super powers are anything. He was just a man so I'd say if one man could get enough people together to kill a group of Reapers then I'd say a couple of men can get enough gunslingers, washouts, and weirdos to kill one." He smiles before leaning back against a wall. "Of course with me here we probably could just let everyone else take a quick lunch break." He smiles behind his helmet somewhat uplifted by his own words of hot blooded machismo.

Nema looks at Carter then she said,"sorry to ruin your carefree life style but we must be serious on this Carter..try not to be so heroic, it can mess with your head.." then a nurse came in and said,"Ms.Colden, Your brother is awake.." then Nema looks at the nurse and said,"I am on my way.." then she turns around head to the infirmary but she stops and looks at Carter,"Don't act like your a big shot around here Carter.." then she walks back into the infirmary to check on Cearo.

Dakyrr lifted his head. "It's not about Shepard....." He paused and looked at both of them. "My entire life people told me all the things that I couldn't do and sought to prove them wrong. With every challenge I succeeded. This time it seems I may not be able to succeed...."

Nema stops dead at her tracks then she looks at Drakyrr,"we won't know until we try..if you all excuse me, I have to check my patient.." then she walks away. Garrus looks at Nema then back at Dakyrr with his arms crossed,"What do you purpose we do then Dakyrr?"

"We still have duty to perform. We will fight until we can't fight anymore." Dakyrr got up and went to the bridge. "We're just docking now sir." The coucil's new world had a space elevator for ships to dock on. Smaller ships could enter atmosphere, but larger ships like the Prima had to dock in orbit.

Nema felt the ship docking then she looks at Cearo and said,"Cearo?" then he opens his eyes, it was blurry at first but regained then said,"please tell me I am not dreaming.." then Nema smiles and said,"your not..how do you feel?" then he said,"its hurts all over..tch..I can believe that I failed to prevent the reaper from taking off..the council will have my head for this.." then Nema frowns and said,"Don't talk like that, it will take a few days for your body to heal..just try to rest ok? Doctor's orders.." then Cearo smiles and finally he went to sleep.

Dakyrr went with Carter, Tali, Ashley, and Garrus, to see the council. There was little known about where the Reaper was headed, or where they could even start to look, but hopefully the council had information for them. They entered the council chambers and payed their respects. "Councilors..." Dakyrr said.

Carter looks around trying to understand what was going on. Garruss, Tali, and Ashley he could understand Dakyrr bringing in for they were a part of Shepards origonal crew and all had high standing. Yet he was just a bounty hunter that if his guess was right the Quarian biotic would prefer in a cell.
Also was the sureal feeling of meeting the Council. Though that was somewhat tempered because to Carter they did look like your stereotypical politicians. Still the bounty hunter decided to stay silent and see where his inclusion was to lead.

Nema appeared and stood next to Carter but she remains silent as Dakyrr is talking to the council but she feels that she should join and tell them about Cearo but she remain close by.
