The O'Connors are two characters (out of a whole family of nine) that are from Ireland. They've quickly become some of my favorite characters to use.

ABBY O'CONNOR
Past History
Though chronologically the second O'Connor to appear within the guild, Abby was actually the first to make an appearance in the main story. She was transported by Danu, the Celtic mother-goddess, to the Merged Multiverse after being told that she was blessed with good luck and had a field around herself that brought good luck to those inside it, so long as they were not evil. Abby's objective was to find her brother Aiden, who had been in the Merged Multiverse for months, though by the time in her universe, it was a few weeks.
Abby's first appearance was in Gotham City, were she was confronted by Two-Face and his goons moments after her arrival. Two-Face, refusing to believe that good luck actually existed (let alone that Abby was a living conduit of it), attempted to kill the girl, but Abby's powers managed to get her to safety. Abby kept running through Gotham until she reached Wayne Manor. Upon arriving at Wayne Manor, Abby met Tim Drake (the third Robin, whom she immediately developed a crush on), Nightwing (d**k Grayson), Jinx, Sun Wolf, Red Cardinal (Kai Summers), Brigade (another OC of mine) and Damian Wayne. She stayed there for a while while most of the Batfamily went out on a mission in Gotham, and upon their return Abby met Arell L'Amour, C.J. Benoit, and Dundee Benoit (no relation), who had called for the Batfam's help in the first place.
It came to the attention of the Batfamily that Arell's girlfriend Crystal Lasill had been kidnapped, and he needed to find her. Tim elected to go with him, and Abby, wanting to stay close to Tim, asked to go as well. Tim agreed after a short time of mulling the decision over (and he was, of course, affected by Abby's field, although she didn't know it). They went out to Gotham City and picked up Crystal's companion Artemis (a talking cat who could break the Fourth Wall), then briefly went back to Wayne Manor before heading out to the secret island base of Emil Dorian, Crystal's father, who had kidnapped her.
Upon arriving at the island, Arell went on ahead to confront Dorian, while Dorian's "son" Tygrus confronted Tim, Abby, and Artemis-- grabbing the latter two and initially seeming hostile. After a short standoff in which Abby's good luck field managed to get Robin to talk Tygrus down (and Abby's affection for Tim grew immensely at this), the group moved to Dorian's compound, where they discovered that Crystal had been kidnapped because of a condition that caused her DNA to slowly deteriorate and Dorian, not wishing to see her die, had stabilized the condition.
Arell, already in an extremely bad mood in the first place, continued to act like an a**. Abby, having gotten fed up with this attitude that Arell had displayed almost from the moment he had learned Crystal was kidnapped, told Arell where to get off. Arell laughed at her, and suffered a humiliating (and tremendously funny for me and the other RPers) kick to the groin from Abby.
Shortly thereafter, the group, along with Crystal, left Dorian and Tygrus on their island and returned to Wayne Manor. Here, Abby was reunited with Aiden, and while Abby attempted to let Tim know of her feelings through overt displays of affection, Tim was (and still is, as of this writing) too much of a dork to see, although he appeared to reciprocate to a degree after a while. Anyways, while in the Batcave, Abby met Jack Firerose and Mr. Mxyptlk, and unknowingly imbibed some of Mxy's Fourth Wall Awareness after his powers of reality warping interacted with her good luck field, thus making her one of the few characters in the guild to be aware of the Fourth Wall.
Abby remained in the Manor while Tim and Crystal went on their own mission and Aiden went off to New York for reasons even he wasn't sure of, and after Tim and Crystal returned, a lot of stuff happened-- two versions of Bruce Wayne, one of them a woman (Brenda Wayne, who is also and OC of mine), appeared at the Manor, and in all the commotion, "Bruce" ordered everyone to the Batcave, lectured them on how he didn't want the place to be used as a superhero hub anymore, and he added Abby, Arell, Dundee, Jack, and Brigade to the Batcomputer.
Current Whereabouts
At the moment, Abby is yet again on a mission with Tim: This time, to investigate the newcomers at the Justice League Watchtower on the Moon.

AIDEN O'CONNOR
Past History
Technically speaking, Aiden was the first O'Connor to appear in the guild, but it wasn't in the main story. Within the main guild continuity, Aiden did not make an actual appearance until late into the story thus far, but he has been established as having been in the Merged Multiverse for several months prior to this, and having met Arell L'Amour, C.J. Benoit, and Dundee Benoit, becoming one of their allies and drinking buddies.
Aiden's first official appearance in the main guild canon was in the Batcave, passed out drunk and in a dinghy that had floated aimlessly into the cave. He awoke and was reunited with his youngest sibling, Abby, and Arell himself. He met Robin, Arell's girlfriend Crystal, and Crystal's companion Artemis. After this, he met Brigade, Mr. Mxyzptlk, and Jack Firerose before going up to Wayne Manor and reuniting with CJ and Dundee. Not long after this (and suffering the craziness of some Fourth Wall-breaking fun on the part of myself and a few other writers), Aiden got an odd feeling and was directed to New York City, eventually coming upon a bar. He met a woman named Morgaine, who he shared much in common with and immediately hit it off with after a brief streetfighting match out in the back of the bar.
Current Whereabouts:
Aiden is currently at the bar in New York where he met Morgaine... and is fighting off a horde of vampires that spontaneously attacked the place. Fun stuff.
