She was on cheer squad, crew team, chess club, took ballet, voice, and a creative writing class, and was president of her class as well as skate team. She wanted to go to a dance college somewhere and be in a huge ballet company, but her parents wanted her to follow in their footsteps as a computer engineer. She ended up going to college for software design, and continued taking dance classes on weekdays at the local dance studio. One night after dance class, she was sitting in the local café working on designing a game for a project. A man saw her working and asked if she was an engineer, she said she was in school for it, and he asked if she would come to his house and see if she could fix his computer. She agreed, as long as she got paid for it. They went back to his house, where he revealed that he was a slave trader, tied her up, and brought her to the Starlight Slave Market.
