Slinging his camera bag over his shoulder, Vincent exited his room, closing the door softly behind him. It was a beautiful day outside - in what could almost be the texbook definition of summer, the sun was shining, and although it was hot, the wind was blowing just enough to make it nice. Perfect weather for photography, he noted as he made his way through the house. His camera had always been a useful distraction for him, especially in times like this - he would be turning seventeen tomorrow, and with that, came graduation and a slew of new responsibilities. Running a hand through his messy hair, he heard the faint thump of music coming from his sister's room. He wondered for a short moment if he should invite her along on his excursion, opening the door to her room with a small smile. Alice and Vincent had always been close, but lately, they had grown apart. Perhaps taking her out would be the way to remedy this..

"Hey, Ali! I was just going out to take a few pictures, want to come with?"

Vincent couldn't help but grin at his sister's exuberance, nodding in response as he made his way out the front door, stopping to grab his wallet. He had to admit, his sister was adorable, especially when she smiled. "I was thinking of going down to the park and getting a few nature shots, what do you think?" he asked, not expecting a reply. Alice had never understood his interest in photography, but he was grateful to have her by his side regardless. It was strange, though - Vincent noted that she seemed unusually preoccupied that day. Shrugging it off, he continued walking in silence. "Maybe I could take her out and do something.." he contemplated. He had been seeking a way to renew the closeness between the two, and a nice day together might do it. Without a word, he turned to go further into town, hoping to surprise her.
