Hello everyone. My family as just gotten a new addition!! A cute little black Cocker-poo. She's about 10 weeks old, and as cute as a button.
(Don't you just love it when you can use saying like that?!)
However we do have one problem. Her name.
Apon bring her home on Valentine's, my wonderful husband asked one of our three year olds what she wanted to name the puppy. At which she promtedly responded, "I don't know."
So we waited, all of us trying to think up a name. After picking her up from the babysitters the next day, I asked her again what she wanted to name the puppy. The ringing answer from the back seat was, "Coleslaw!!"
Apparently she had thought long and hard about this, and could not be swayed in the matter. So we patiently waited for Daddy to get home so we could tell him the name of our new puppy. Unbeknowence to us, Daddy had already picked out a very suitible name, Nikki.
The fight was on.
Now some time has pasted, Daddy still hates the name "Coleslaw", but the puppy won't come to anything else, dispite muliple tries to change it.
I thought that you guys might enjoy my little story as I introduce my families new member. Coleslaw!!

Just tell Daddy that he can call the puppy "Cole"
Because Coleslaw is a cute name. xd

That is way too cute. That will be a great story for when your daughter gets older too. Congrats on the new dog! I do have to say, while it's a very ute name I'm glad it's not our dog, because my 3 yr old pronounces it cole-slop! xp

Thanks guys!! I've really taken to the name myself. blaugh Daddy is coming around. Though he still rolls his eyes about it from time to time.
He's past complaining though.

I think it's adorable... when I was little my parents got me a dog & I named her Smurfette.... heart
