Also if she gets shot in the head or something simuliar she would be knocked out cold until her body can regenerate. Tell Me A StoryFreya's mother worked in a research lab, her father was a doctor. While Freya's mother was carrying her in the womb, she was exposed to some odd bizarre gas, it came from this goo that these researchers found out in the middle of the amazon jungle. Her mother figured it came from sort of plant but when she added some chemicals to it, it caused it to react badly, the goo started to bubble and spit and it released this gas as it sizzled. Freya's mother breathed in this gas before she could do anything. Freya's mother after many doctor check ups. She was just fine and it seemed that Freya was okay too. Until the day she was born, when she was born she had wings of a dove. Her parents didn't know what to make of what they were seeing. They figured the wings were just some kind of weird mutation. They weren't effecting her negatively. So her father, had her wings surgically removed. And once done, that was the end of that. Or was it? Her wings, they came back. They grew back a month later. Their child had the ability to regenerate. But as she got older, the wings became harder to hide from people. Her parents would lock her in her room which was a special room they made in the basement with no windows. They told her that freaks weren't allowed to go outside. That she was embarrassment that she should've just never been born. Died in the womb. She had a older sister that would purposely break things and destroy things and blame it all on her.
Just to watch Freya get punished. This was the life that Freya grew up in. When she turned about fourteen, she started to learn how to hide her wings, some how she can make the wings dematerialize to where they just become a extra layer of skin on her back. Its the oddest thing to see and then when she brings them out again, it looks like her skin is being ripped right off her back. But they will materialize as her white wings. When she was fifteen she broke out of the house and ran away from home, after her parents actually beat her. Her body sore and tired, bruised and starved. She stumbled onto the steps of a church. A nun spotted her worn body and brought her inside. The nuns saw her wings and took her as to be a true angel. A baby of heaven that was given to them. The Nuns started to raise her, the priest took a liking to her and then would preach to her about hope and about people that were lost.
Then something sparked in Freya, all these people with powers like her. They were a danger to society, they were a threat to good people. That was why her parents spited her so much. She was a corrupted creature. But as the nuns thought her to be. She was a angel, she believed she was given trials by a higher power to test her strength and given these powers to know the curse. She was the angel!! She was the one that would bring hope to those that could not defend themselves from the people with powers. Freya then decided that she would deliver these people out from evil's grasp. When she turned twenty one, she left the care of the church that took her in and founded the "Church of the Raising Sun" and became the leader of what is now called "The Legion". She vowed to rid this world of the threat that plagues common man and give them hope. And then maybe someday, her parents will forgive her, forgive her for being such a burden and trouble on their lives. She knows they could never accept her, how could she expect them to accept a monstrous person like herself? No, she just hopes she can be given forgiveness. She keeps it a big secret that she has powers herself, she is the leader of the legion and therefore she has to hold up a reputation but her higher ups in the Legion know she has powers, they are trusted with that information.
Freya is a clever creature, shes not normally the one you will see preaching. She does not think she has much right to stand and preach to innocent people. She merely makes sure they stay informed but when she does preach, she is a wonderful speaker. She could make a super hero wish he never became a super hero or that he ever had powers and maybe even run down and turn himself in right away.
