I've noticed that people aren't all that clever nowadays. Granted it is hilarious, but I'm tired of being surrounded by idiots. That's why I've been performing certain tasks to keep people on their toes. I'm inviting everyone in the guild to help come up with new ways to keep people thinking.
Here're a few:
Go to a bank, wait in line, then ask for change for a nickel.
Call random numbers and shout "GET OFF THE LINE"

Sounds more like a list of public pranks and social experiments. xD
At fast food restaurants, place your orders in cryptic riddles.

Run frantically into a business, ask someone working "What year is it?" When they answer you, yell "YES! IT WORKED!" and run out xD
This is probably irrelevant to what you're really requesting.

Sort of related, but I deal with a LOT of stupid people at the restaurant where I work. I provide basic intelligence tests to people, and more often than not they fail them.
When they pay with a card, they have to sign a receipt. I'll hand them a clipboard with their receipt and a pen velcroed onto the top of the clipboard. From my experience, people can't figure out modern technology like Velcro. They'll pick at the pen to try and get it off, scramble to grab the pen that is obviously NOT falling off the clipboard as I hand it to them, awkwardly jam the pen under the clip, etc.
Also, when I say our sizes are small, large, and extra large and they ask for a medium, they have failed the basics skills test. emotion_donotwant
Maybe I'm just a cynic. But I don't think I'd be able to play any tricks like that on my customers because they can't grasp the simpler concepts emotion_facepalm
