Personality: Ryu is an odd individual. He keeps mostly to himself, but doesn't forgo social interactions all together. When hired as a bodyguard, Ryu makes sure no harm befalls his contractor, even going so far as crushing an assailant's head into the asphalt. He's usually very irritable during his time as a bodyguard and will almost always end up acting in a violent way. However, completely in contrast with his bodyguard self, when he's tending to his bar, he's quiet, attentive and patient, though if there is a couple of bar-fights going on in his bar, he does tend to get a little violent.
Unless contracted, Ryu will listen to almost no one. The only way Ryu will listen to someone outside of a contract is if they prove that they are stronger than he is.

Biography: Much like all Fullbringers, Ryu's mother was attacked by a Hollow when Ryu was in her womb. About six years after his birth, his mother and father were killed by Hollows, thus making him an orphan. Spending about two year in several foster homes, Ryu decided to run away and live on the streets rather than live with a family that wasn't his.
After four years of living on the streets, Ryu found a little girl named "Lien Hosokawa." Learning that Lien, whom he had given the nickname "Aoi-chan" to because of the color of her eyes, was also an orphan whose real parents died as unexpectedly as his did, who had also ran away from foster homes, Ryu decided that he would become her "Onii-san" and protect her like a real big brother would.
After they had lived with each other for several years, Lien had presented Ryu with an umbrella. An umbrella that she had found that was beaten and torn, which she fixed to the best of her ability. In return, Ryu gave her a blue pendant he found that, at first, he was going to sell, thinking that it might be worth something, but instead gave it to Lien as a thank you. Due to his feelings for the umbrella, it developed into his Fullbring, "Zephyric Prominence," the name taking the meaning "The prominent western winds blow ever harder, but, together, we shall overcome them."
Ryu adopted the phrase "I'll be strong like the wind." as his philosophy due to Lien, which later lead to his becoming a bodyguard. They eventually went separate ways when Ryu decided to join Xcution, though Ryu still kept accepting contracts as a bodyguard. Eventually he rose to the rank of 3rd In-Command, and has since been content with his status in Xcution. He also eventually opened up a bar called the "Drunken Oni," which has been giving him a steady flow of income, as well as the occasional bodyguard contract.

Fullbring Name: Zephyric Prominence
Fullbring Appearance: Fullbring (The form Ryu takes when his Fullbring is active. The slat parts on the umbrella are actually made of steel and when the umbrella is folded, he can use it like a regular sword. The length of the pole of the umbrella is about 7' 6". The diameter of the top of the umbrella is roughly 5' 11". The umbrella depicted is his pre-Fullbring activation umbrella. Post-Fullbring activation looks similar to Ginjo and Ichigo's Fullbring activations; Bones along the seams of the umbrella with the umbrella's slats in the texture and color of muscle, talon like bone protrusions at the end of the seams and the handle is also made of bone.)
Fūjin no Iki (風神の息 "Fujin's Breath" [a.k.a. "Breath of the Wind God"]);
When the umbrella is spread out, it will slowly absorb any and all nearby reiatsu or reishi. This includes the reiatsu from Ryu himself. It will absorb more reiatsu if he uses the umbrella like a shield to block a reiatsu attack or an attack from a non-Human creature, such as blocking a zanpakutou from a Vizard/Shinigami, or blocking a Fullbringer's Fullbring, but will only absorb about 25% of said reiatsu, the rest simply being deflected off. However, it can't completely block attacks from a Lieutenant-class being, such as a Lieutenant, Head Fraccion, most Visoreds, and second in-command of the Quincies, or higher. This technique got its name due to the fact that if one were to pay attention, they'd hear something that would sound almost like someone inhaling. This technique also causes the wind to pick up and blow towards Ryu, but only blowing at a measly ten miles per hour. The range he can slowly absorb reiatsu/reishi from is about thirty feet from the tip of the umbrella in a spherical radius.
Zeusu no Inazuma (ゼウスの稲妻 "Zeus's Lightning Bolt" [a.k.a. "Bolt of Lightning"]):
Once the umbrella has absorbed a certain amount of reiatsu/reishi, Ryu is able to fire a "reiatsu cannon" that can only be fired when the umbrella is unfolded, firing towards where ever the tip of the umbrella is pointing. Occasionally a lightning bolt or two will dance along the edges of the blast. This technique got its name from its sheer power. The diameter of the blast is exactly the diameter of the top of the unfolded umbrella. The blast will continue forward for about three miles, but can only shoot straight.
Sandābādo no Tsume (サンダーバードの爪 "Thunderbird's Talon" [a.k.a. "Talon of Thunder"]);
This technique causes reiatsu to build up around the folded edges of the umbrella, which can be released from the tip of the umbrella in a crescent wave of energy, which can cause massive damage to nearly anything it touches. This technique got its name due to the fact that the crescent wave almost always looks like a talon. The crescent-shaped wave, once fully released, is roughly 2.5 times the length of the umbrella. (That would be 18' 9")
Ketsu~arukoatoru no Tate (ケツァルコアトルの盾 "Quetzalcoatl's Shield" [a.k.a. "Shield of the Feathered Serpent"]);
Once the umbrella has absorbed enough reiatsu/reishi, Ryu can create an "energy shield," which protects from all but the strongest attacks. The diameter of the shield is roughly four times the diameter of the top of the unfolded umbrella. (That would be 23' 8") This technique got its name due to the fact that there are always feather-shaped pieces of reiatsu/reishi along the edges of the shield. There also happens to be a beak-like protrusion on the center of the energy shield, which Ryu occasionally uses to ram things.
Te~yupōn Hōkō (テュポーン咆哮 "Typhon Roar" [a.k.a. "Roar of the Typhonic Beast"]);
This is Ryu's strongest attack. It is caused after he starts spinning the unfolded umbrella around while releasing high amounts of the reiatsu/reishi that has been absorbed. Doing this creates a massive twister in which he can swing at his opponent. Due to the high amounts of reiatsu/reishi released, the winds move at a speed fast enough to cut through diamonds. This technique got its name due to the fact that, since the winds are moving at such a high speed, the sound they give off is like the roar of an angered beast. The length of the swing is equal to the length of an actual twister. (About 250 feet across, and about 30,000 feet [About 5.6 miles] tall.) This technique can only be used twice per battle.
