Kameth had been circling back to take himself out of the way of the other dragons; assuming that Z'fer and Calanoth would have them sit out for at least awhile. The blue nearly spun around on wing tip to get back into formation. Now agility he could do!
Mine, Calanoth says there is a change of plans. We are to focus on agilty and the weyrlings will actually be trying to hit us. We can burn but it is not a priority. The blue hummed in excitement.
The teen grinned. This training had just upgraded a notch in her book. So much more interesting than simple formation flying or Thread practice. She gave a whoop to show her readiness. Kameth ask what we're suppose to do if we are hit? Her dragon relayed the question to the bronze.

(Meep and Magna have their required posts. I'm just going to get two more in for Z'fer and that'll be enough to wrap this up. I let this get forgotten in the Meta. ^_^ Sorry guys! New training will be up before too long)

~ You really going to let a weyrling get you Kameth? ~ Calanoth teased, mirth in his eyes as he backwinged to avoid a clump aimed at him. He let out a blast of fire, searing the offending rope before surging forward again, eyes on the weyrling's above. ~ You don't need to do anything if you get hit, but we'll all know who's more agile by the end of this! ~
Riding a fall or even a normal training was a lot different from what they were doing now. While normally they worked as a pair, both acting as one body, Z'fer felt more like he was along for the ride now that the game had changed. It wasn't nessicarily a bad thing though. He found his competitive side kicking in as Calanoth put his wings to the test. If his Bronze could out dodge the smaller colors that was only more proof of how impressive he was.

He wasn't burning as much rope now that his focus was divided. Calanoth still managed to send ashes to the ground. The bronze and his rider loved the act of flaming too much to really give it up, even if it meant both of their hides were soon spotted with blue dye.
As the weyrlings ran low on their supplies and the 'fall' slowed down, Z'fer gave the signal for everyone to land. His once organized wing now looked like a mess of mutated blue dragons, with splotches of other colors between. Z'fer wouldn't be the first to admit Calanoth had certainly taken his fair share of staining, his earlier boasts of agility falling short of the reality of his enormous size.
Z'fer dismounted once he reached the ground, removing his goggles and revealing sharp lines between clean skin and blue dye. His earlier irritation had melted away. He hadn't realized how much he and the other riders had needed a chance to let go and 'play' with the tensions floating about. "For as short notice and unconventional as it was. I'm satisfied with our results today. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. Now go get cleaned up. I'll give you more notice next time I decide to change plans. I've got some weyrling hides to skin in the meantime." His dismissal was casual. Calanoth had begun to grump again about how the dye itched his hide and he's REALLY like to be a bronze dragon again.
