From Desert deserts Post 341 Chael continued his walk, passing Emmoco. It'd take a while but he was on the hunt for a Pokemon to trade. One to keep as well. He was looking for two Zoruas. His team followed behind and around. All except Plato, who wasn't good at walking. Their journey was actually feeling more like an adventure now. Post 342 A Croagunk walked past, giving Chael a blank stare and a ribbit. The boy would make his way around the frog, figuring they must be in a new area. Quietly walking, he felt more moisture in the air. They were definately not in the desert anymore. Chael looked around, seeing a Swablu fly by. The only birds that were part dragon. It squawked angrily at him as it flew away. Oh boy. Chael would pick up his pace. Post 343 Finally, Chael just sat down. He was rather bored, the feeling of adventure dampened slightly. An empty feeling filled him as he sat there. Recalling all but Tsuki, the Umbreon found his way onto his trainer's lap. There was too much to do now and so many people to one up. Although he'd indefinitely cross paths with each one again. Silence filled the slightly damp air, something Chael took comfort in. Even if he made friends with Nolan he was still a loner at heart. The boy didn't get along with most people, as observed with most of the people he had met in Etrua. He was unpleasant at the best of times. Stroking Tsuki's fur, he placed his other hand under his chin before leaning on it. He never got how he always ended up acting as such. Most people seemed to be cheery about every single detail of life, while he felt more like a faraway observer. As a habit, he cut out most contact with people to take time for himself alone. Pokemon seemed to be a fair replacement, but they didn't give the interesting debates one could get from a human. Just as how having a dog didn't replace not having a human friend. He sighed, trying to figure out how most people did it. For all his intelligence, he couldn't help but be confused as to why he came to Etrua. It would've been easier to simply do the Johto Circuit. He knew the land by heart and was familiar with the resident Pokemon. The only reason he came would be to find his father. His mother was a kind woman, but was too unlike Chael. The boy loved her, but it felt awkward around how calm and upbeat he was. Heck, he didn't even look like her, save for the brown hair he had. He had a burning curiosity to find someone like him. His personality needed to have stemmed from someone. There couldn't be just one person who knew what it felt like to feel inhuman. Post 344 One had to guess at what to do know. From what he understood he was ahead on the other trainers. The boy wasn't the gloating type so it was rather useless. Anyone he was interested in battling was left in the dust or too far ahead. Now, to find a pair of Zorua. It'd only be a matter of time until he found them. And he had one thing in excess, it was time. Tsuki seemed on edge, checking corners. The fight he had two nights before must've been pretty intense. Both he and that Houndour evolved during it, meaning it must've taken a long time. Post 345 It wasn't like he'd have to take forever to wait for serious competition. The others were just two or one badges behind. That also meant he'd have time to raise some Pokemon he might've never even seen. Here he was, blindly searching for a Pokemon he had no idea where to find. Chael nudged Tsuki, making the Umbreon jump off. He gave a pouty face to his trainer, who merely ignored it. "Ok, let's find us two Zoruas." he said to the dark type. Post 346 Chael gave a low sigh, putting his hands in his pockets. How was it that most people here were so frustrating? The boy craved standing on a stadium, up on top. A crazy as that sounded, he couldn't wait until he faced the Champion. It still felt like his journey had only just begun, like the past days never happened. The morning haze was still there, keeping the air cool. At the moment, he seemed lost. He had no idea where he had came from so getting back to Nolan might take a while. His Pokemon, thus far, suited him pretty well. Once he established dominense over several rude people, he'd leave this region. Post 349 Chael would decide it best to walk back. His Pokemon were on the brink of leveling up so he'd need to deposit them before they got out of hand. Sadly that meant Tsuki and Bruce. But he'd also deposit Plato just for convenience sake. The boy would never get why he had a flying type hidden power. How would a turtle fly anyways? As stated before, the boy promptly turned and started to head back. Chael had said he wouldn't turn back to himself, but he didn't see his team was close to leveling up. It reminded him of a certain alligator. Post 350 His Pokemon leveled up again, making Tsuki right on the spot before becoming disobedient. As well as Bruce. Chael looked up at the sky, a sense of boredness still there. Thrill seemed to be absent here, a major disappointment to the boy. He wanted a good, long Pokemon battle. Against someone who needed their face punched in. Yeah, maybe that'd get him out of this funk. One solid, six on six battle. His stride turned into a run as he dashed off to the center. Post 351 Eventually, Chael would make it to the Pokemon Center, depositing several Pokemon. He'd need space on his team to raise the Pokemon he caught. Besides, Lizzy and Aiden could protect him well enough. So he'd be set if he ran into any trouble. Setting out, Chael would send out Lizzy. She'd kneal down as he got on her. "Giddy up." he'd plainly say as she darted off, galloping away with her trainer riding. He had gotten used to riding an equestrian now.
