 Well this was turning out to be a wonderful day. Ruston had fallen asleep in the tree after staying up all night, and when he had woken up...Rain. Rain. Rain. Rain. Rain. Rain. Not to mention thunder. And lightning. Which he was not going out in. Even he wasn't that stupid, as much as he liked taking risks. So that left him stuck in the tree to wait out the storm. He supposed he should move to a lower branch, or at least to the ground. That way if lightning struck, it would strike the tree and not him. With a sigh, Ruston got up and started making his way towards the ground.

Sparkle ran as fast as she could, she wished the t.v. would have told it was going to rain AND thunder. If she had known that she wouldnt have wondered so far. She looks and seen weeping willow, purfect. A loud crash that sounded right next to her. She screamed tjen flopped under the tree so fast and not paying attention and smacked into the trunk with a loud thump. She felt very dizzy, another loud crash, she screamed and rlled up into fetal position, still dizzy from when she smashed into the tree. She was glad she didnt hit her head, she didnt need a head ache. But her ribs were very sore. She was too scared to open her eyes. Her ears shivering, and her tail stiffly wrapped around her body.

Ruston had made it to the last branch before the ground when he saw something barrel into the tree. Huh...He hopped to the ground and sat, tilting his head as he tried to figure out what creature was hiding. Certainly brightly colored that was for sure. Scared, from the creature's body position and shakes. "Yo. You alright?"

Sparkles heard a guys voice, jumped on on her paws and shook her head. "Sorry, I'm not used to this area, and lighning scares me very much." She looked at the male, he was very handsome, and had wings. "Beautiful...." She didn't realize she said it out loud. But she was impressed with the wings. She had never seen wings before. "Erm, I mean, it just started raining out of nowhere, I mean if I had paid attention to the clouds. So I got startled and ran like crazy. I was watching where I was going, but then a big bang and I ran as fast as I could, me being stupid I kept my eyes closed...." She felt really stupid, then started rubbing her chest, it was very sore.

Ruston smiled. "At least you knew to find shelter. I know several Zunes that would stay out in weather like this, no matter the consequences." Ruston personally thought they were idiots, but he hung out with them because they were a blast at parties. He folded his wings against himself, frowning. "You hurt kiddo?" She had hit the tree really hard, so it wouldn't surprise him that her rubbing was to show that she was hurt. Course, Ruston didn't know first aid so...

Sparkle coughs. "Yea im okay, I can handle my pains." She walked and sat infront of the flying zune. "How ar..." Big crash of lightning. "Ahhh!!" Jumps onto the male hiding her head underhis chin. She cant stop shivering, thinking the world is ending this very moment.

Ruston stumbled backwards a bit as he was latched onto by the girl. He only stopped himself from falling over by flapping his wings. "Wow...You totally are freaked out by all this." He chuckled. "Then its a good thing someone's here to keep you company huh?" Bringing his wings forward, he wrapped them around himself and the girl. "Maybe it'll pass soon. So what's your name?"

Sparkles blushed. "yea..I hope so, my name is Sparkles Fire, but you can call me Fire or Sparkles, whatever is easier." She backed away, then sat anf pet her fluffy tait. She wondered if he might think she look silly with spots, him looking so hansom, and her like a raver colors.... "I am kinda shy, if you couldn't tell, but once I warm up, I will be more interesting and less shy." She smiled at him, she was on the smaller side, so she looked up at him with a shy smile. "What is you name?" She looked at his huge wings, that were so beautiful, if only she had wings like that, if only she could touch them, they amazed her.
