Pierrot scratched his cheek thinking about it. "I don't think my parents really expected to much out of my brother and I, we're happy though. I don't really spend much time around them though. So why don't you expect the best out of yourself? Like, do something that makes you happy? Yourself should be the top priority over anything else. Your happiness is important. I like it when you smile."

she looked genuinely confused, like the thought had never occurred to her " oh no... i could never. Father would be most displeased.... " she said and shuddered wondering what kind of punishment would await her if she showed so much rebellion

"But you're just as important if not more than anyone else. You really should put yourself first." He was starting to get a tad worried about her defending her father, wondering why she defended him so much.

she shook her head furiously, tail twitching anxiously, eyes darting here and there " oh no, who knows what would happen if i did that... Father gets... creative when i upset him..." she mumbled quietly, as if her father would hear her.

He couldn't help himself after seeing her act the way she did. He quickly reached out and placed his paws on her face. "Calm down, no one's going to hurt you." He felt he didn't need to pry as he was quite gentle with her. He gave a sigh, taking the chance to softly pet her. "How about we get some hot tea or coffee, my treat."

She flinched out of reflex and squeezed her eyes shut. But when no pain was forthcoming she slowly opened her eyes and backed away, wrapping her tail around herself protectively then nodded, anything to get out of this situation.

Her reaction was just so adorable to him as he blushed lightly only to laugh it off. "common." He lead the way to a cafe, opening the door for her. "Order whatever you'd like, they have the best mini cakes here."

She walked it and stared at the menu cake blankly, she had never eaten been to a place like this, and had no idea what to get " um... i guess ill just get whatever you suggest... i don't know what any of this tastes like so..."

He was a bit surprised that she didn't know what to try. So he ordered the sampler special for them to share in case she'd like to pick certain ones she'd like to try. he could always order more if she liked it enough. He did the same with the drinks as he lead her to a table pulling a chair out for her. "Here you go milady." he wanted to show her a nice evening out and he was till determined to see her smile more on top of laugh.

She sat down and looked at everything curiously and poked at a small piece of cake with a fork " this dosent look like any kind of food that i've ever seen."

Pierrot sat across from her, grinning as he saw how curious she was about it. "Why don't you try it? I've not known anyone to dislike sweets."
