Ari ran through the door with gusto and bated breath, he was breathing heavier than he’d ever breathed before. Sweat rolled down his cheek only to form a droplet that fell to the ground beneath him in a matter of seconds. His pupils were narrow and small with none of their original glint and zealousness that had been so radiant earlier on. It was something about that doctor that scared him and also tugged at his gut in such a way that he knew there had to be some connection between him and the eccentric b*****d that had so graciously attempted to go on a killing spree. Ari’s mind ran as he grasped for air, he almost never was this breathless, but at this very moment it was an exception. He moved forward through the building to a nearby couch and slumped over onto it so that he could rest.

Ari Young

The sound of Yuno's sweet melodic voice soothed him, it felt warm and comforting. However the odd sound of a gun being cocked did not register as something good, when he opened his eyes he saw Yuno with a baretta at his head and in nothing but a bath towel, his jaw dropped. While the gun made his adrenaline rush, the urge to kill was oddly missing from the excitement, maybe it had something to do with his strange feelings for this obviously mentally unstable girl. Ari looked at her with a sweet smile and cunning eyes that were cooler than ice, he chuckled a bit and spoke up, "My dear, why the violence? I have done nothing wrong, the reason I am here in my disgraceful state is because of a disturbing presence the doctor gave me. And I know that it may be strange to you, but I think I knew him at one point in my life....."

Ari stood up, perfectly aware that there was a gun pointed at him, but in need of caloric intake very desperately. He ignored the gun being pointed at him and casually walke into the kitchen, opened the fridge and produced a full gallon of milk. Then smiling at Yuno, uncapped the calcium rich beverage, brought it up to his mouth and began to down the container. In a disturbingly disgusting looking thirty seconds the milk was depleted and Ari was taking a box of crackers off of a shelf. After doing so he walked back over to the couch where Yuno was standing and opened the crackers, grabbed the remote to the TV and turned it on. As he began to eat, his mind ran all over the place, mostly to the girl whom looked so sexy in a towel with a pistol. "Ya know? We should take this oppurtunity to get to know eachother!" Ari commented with a mouthful of cracker.

Ari continued to chew thoughtfully as Yuno spoke and he contemplated what he really wanted to know about her, one of his options was clear; what had made her so visibly crazy along with why. But there had to be more, much more, he knew he would have to ask a broad question to get the kind of answer he was looking for; a question that asked about her past and her parents or other family members. He swallowed the now paste textured crackers and smiled once again at the pink-haired girl sitting next to him and got up to once again go into the kitchen, this time to put the half-eaten box of crackers away and get himself one of the two liter bottles of soda on the counter. Then while he walked back to his seat he opened his mouth and said, " Y'know, there are quite a few things I'd like to know about you my seet little darling, but why don't we wrap up the interrogation in one neat little bow; tell me all about yourself, I want to know every last grueling detail no matter how dumb it is. And in return I'll do the same. How does that sound?"

He turned back to his soda which he uncapped with the mindless efficiency of a long-life of practice and guzzled it down with that same efficiency after which he let out a very ungentlemanly belch. Then he averted his eyes to the television where he watched an eyewitness report on the recently destroyed mall, a young man reporting what he had seen along with security camera footage; it was the man that made Ari feel so strange. His eyes widened and he began to watch the footage with new attentiveness and an overwhelming feeling of dread. He reached for the remote and turned the television off very quickly, so quickly in fact that it was barely apparent Ari actually moved his arm to do so. "By the way, sorry about the milk."

Ari listened intently, trying to scan her face for any sign of lying or something along those lines. He could tell she wasn’t telling him the whole truth because something pained her, but it pained him even more that she didn’t trust him, he was in her house, she was naked and he told her about how he felt about the strange doctor. Though, since he had many high school years of practice, Ari didn’t show any sign of being hurt and kept his smooth exterior from tearing or shattering in any way. His face raised into an interested smile as she spoke, his eyes like a cat’s; unmoving and constant. As she walked away after talking Ari thought for a moment about which was more valuable, a fragile and uncertain relationship or knowledge. Ari, being Ari, chose knowledge over relationship, the more he knew the more he could control the person. In the end making her his even if it was against her will. He opened his mouth to speak after an amused sigh, “Sweetheart, that wasn’t our deal. You need to tell me more for me to tell you more, the more we know about each other the better this will work. Now I want a whole truthful story, not just because I want to know, but also because I doubt you could beat me no matter how hard you try.”

Ari finished his little blurb with a cruel smirk because he realized that he still had all of the stored up energy from earlier at his disposal. He stood there, hands in pockets waiting for a reply with interest and his eyes never leaving her face.

As Ari saw Yuno’s blood rise from the self inflicted wound he knew that she was going to try and kill him, He wouldn’t let that happen. By the time Ari was about to move the noose was around his neck, tightening slowly as strain was added. He began to calm himself, allowing for himself to take deep breaths of increasingly valuable oxygen instead of rushed and scared ones. His body became lose and less tense until the brat mentioned Ari’s sister, at that moment his entire body coiled itself back up to be ready for something that wasn’t there. His face however never once looked frightened, his eyes never widened or narrowed, it remained cold and trained on Yuno’s face and how she dimpled when she smiled, how disturbingly white her teeth were and how small her pupils were. Then Ari’s face broke into a grin, as wide and cruel as he could, his eyes became colder than ice; less emotional than a rock. Then he chuckled deeply, ignoring his slowly declining heart rate and just mocking her. He didn’t care….

“Listen little girl, and listen well. I don’t know what happened to you but you just jumped a grade level. You know about my sister now? Well guess what? I don’t care about her; she’s a tool like you, meaningless and worthless in my eyes. And as for her feelings for if I died, less than mine for her if only she would be alive. You see, when I die she dies, strange I know, but based upon written fact from history. And also…. Blood is a pathetic power,” Ari trailed in a mockingly sarcastic tone of voice. As he finished speaking he raised his hands, a fist full of knife-like implements protruded between his fingers from both hands. Then activating a negative energy wave he burst it outwards, releasing a small portion of his gathered energy given the fact that there was only one target. After letting off the wave he began to focus in his Drain power on Yuno knowing that since the wave was invisible it would most likely collide into her blood-stream. Standing Ari put his hand in between the stream of blood reaching to his neck and since it was a liquid the interruption in flowing made what was on his neck fall to the floor staining the perfectly good white rug. He took his other hand and launched his fist straight for Yuno’s fleshy gut-area, every muscle in the arm pushing as hard as it could, the force coming from it was the equivalent to having and alligator bite you and its speed made it barely visible. Ari snickered at her wanting her dead.
