i was watching bomb it and started to think when they started talking about why they do graffiti and i thought why do i do it? I mean the s**t is toxic, its illegal, and its even deadly sometimes so why do it? Then i remebered the reasons why like its in my blood as a mexican my people paint murals my people have painted murals for generations ; or that i like it because i was quiet as a kid i didnt like talking to people because at home if i spoke out of turn i was yelled at and beat and graffiti gives me a voice and no one can take it away, or the reason i believe is most likly true is that it is a relief i could do what i wanted and no one can do anything but cover it up.

well theres my story.why do you guys like it?

Graff was my gateway into art. It's taught me everything, and graff comes out in all my art. It brought me hiphop, it brought me art, it brought me some real good friends. Graff is one of those things that started me on a path.

I adore the fact that I'm up. Walking with a buddy and seeing my tag somewhere. That's dope. And I'm slipping recently, so that's only the inspiration to get up more and more. So I can see myself and so everyone else can see it. That turns to props, and props turn into the chance to work with new artists. That's my goal; Collaborations with real good artists.

As for the piecing, sketching, etc? There's nothing more soothing than focusing on a piece. I could be stressed as hell, but at that moment the only important thing in the world is the music in my ears and the twisting, turning, sharp lines on my page or brick. That's all that matters; And that is one hell of a relief process.

Above all?
Graffiti is my life. I live and breathe aerosol, and that will never change.
I'm native -- This is my land. I'll ********' take it over if I want.

GRAFF LIFE. That's why. It's not a hobby, it's a lifestyle.

^Word, I notice this more and more.

The first time i went out hardcore bombing with my buddy Save, we went back to his house after. We were drenched and were eatin' some cold perogies. I was like "Man.. This makes me feel like a writer". He didn't get it. Like "Dude, it's cold perogies..".

I'm an artfag. I love painting landscapes, listen to overly-conceptual s**t and hang out in coffee shops with my dumbass hipstery ********' friends (much love). We talk about theatre and human rights and Monty Python. I check out women and men when we're out an about. (Oh yeah I sorta just came out to you guys. Sader will ******** anyone).

Anyways, these things are the least graff-related s**t ever. But then I realize while doing all this, walking around; I'm still looking around CONSTANTLY for every last tag that's hiding somewhere. I can't keep my eyes away from it.
No matter how you live, that s**t is always there.

I mean, I might not be the most hip-hop ******** out there (I look like a ******** european gypsy-hippie for ******** sakes), but everything still pulls back to graff somehow.
