This title is not for show, folks. :3 Construct goti clips that aren't conficend to the online world using common household items--a gaian obsesee's solution to the lack of items sold in the gaia store.


MATERIALS: (part one)



toilet paper roll







Cut off the toes from a pair of old socks, or the front part of a pair of old mittens:

EARPIECE:

cut a piece of wire twice and armslength long. take one end and poke it all the way through one of the silicon bands:



using this point as an anchor, begin to wrap the wie around the band as shown, pressing the loops flat as you go:





continue to wrap the wire aroung until you reach the point you started at. At that point, poke the wire ALL THE WAY THROUGH so it comes out on the other side of the band. next, push the end of the wire under 4 or so of the wire loops you just made. pull the end of the wire through. repeat, only this time the wire will poke through on the opposite side.

fear not, travelers, this is the most confusing part. :3



THE EAR GUARD

Cut a piece of string or yarn aprox. the same length as the wire. wrap in around the band much the same way as you did the wire, only in much closer coils. NONE OF THE WIRE OR BAND SHOULD SHOW THROUGH.



once you've gone all the way around the band, cut off any exces string you may have. place the loose end tightly alongside neighboring coils. daub on a dot of glue, the set out to dry.
