✖Biography: Nyx was born naturally, unlike most gijinkas. When she was born, her mother raised her as best a Haunter could raise a partial human child while traversing all over Unova's forest regions. Her father however left realizing his little girl could never be normal. Her mother however simply implored the girl's playful nature, letting her prank and float all she liked. Until her 15th birthday when her mother was captured by a horrible trainer when she and the little girl stepped into the town of Black City. She ran at the man and beat her little fists against him but he just hit her away. It wasn't until she took the ball from his hands and started to float to get to her home in the forest that he tried to grab her and sell her in an auction. He mistook her for a boy, calling for people to take a gander and bet a price for 'the amazing floating boy'. He had her hands tied and bound her to a stake in the ground by a rope tied around her neck. She struggled and floated, trying anything to escape until another man bought her. He set her loose and though it cost him a lot of money to do so, he was the only kind person she'd seen. Her mother haunts her dreams and one night near her 16th birthday, she followed this feeling and it led her to the horrible trainer's mansion, rich off of selling and not refunding the poor rich man who'd set her free. She found him beating his mother and it made her snap. She crashed through the window and with a large shard, she cut the man's throat. Her mother took her from that place and back to where they had lived, dying the next day from a large gash in her back Nyx had not seen the night before. Due to the trauma, the young teen forced the memory from her mind, back to when she felt her mother was still out there, but it was no longer as strong. She wandered until she found a boat heading over seas to drop off several pokemon trainers to a new island far away. Posing as one, she held the pokeball her mother was held in, never knowing that it was, but didn't fight the trainers as they challenged her. Upon reaching it, she headed out into the forests, thinking her mother could have gone overseas. Little did she know the island was home to the Academy.
