Austin sighed as he knocked on the door to Yamata's apartment and wondered if he was still there or not. "I hope he understands and doesn't feel betrayed or anything. At least we have bolstered our strength so that we are less likely to get hurt." Austin just shook his head and knocked on the door again and waited for an answer.

Austin nodded and walked in, finding himself a seat and sitting down. "Thank you Yamata, sorry to show up at your place so early. I'm here with a mix of good and bad news, though it doesn't surprise me at all about the bad news, the good news did kind of surprise me. Which would you like to hear first?" He waited for Yamata to answer, figuring that he wouldn't like the bad news but knew that it was probably for the best.

Austin smiled and nodded slightly, clasping his hands together and placing them in front of his face. "If that's how you want it then so be it, I won't sugar coat it either but here it is. Daniel found himself a female meister and decided to be her partner. I was against it but at the same time, it's Daniel we are talking about, he doesn't think anything through. Even though it's not the best news, I chose to stick with you seeing as I already agreed to be your partner and that's how it's going to stay, but Daniel just get's along with females anyways so it's probably for the best since he would have gotten into some kind of fight with you and thrown our resonance out the window. The good news is that he gave her a condition that she agreed to, in that me and him will still be together, but so will the two of you. She agreed to join a team with me and you so that me and Daniel won't be separated seeing as we have never been apart for too long since we were born. Plus if one of our meisters needs help or can't continue fighting, the other one can easily wield the other and help protect the one that needs a rest. With this set up, our strength is weakened, but our numbers have grown. Me and you will now have a partner to watch our backs should we get into a situation that we may not be able to handle alone." Austin watched Yamata's expression, hoping that hearing that Daniel had found another meister so soon after agreeing to be his partner wouldn't hurt him.

Austin nodded slightly and smiled. "Don't look at it as you've lost a partner, just look at it as now you have someone who can help. You can still wield us both if the need arises, but with someone to watch your back easier, your less likely to get hurt. As a weapon, that is our main job, and I'm sure that is the main reason he said that she would need to form a team with you in order to wield him. It is a good set up, but it would have been better if he had of brought it up to you himself so that you understood where he was coming from." He stood up and popped his joints, then pulled out a phone and sent a quick text to Daniel to see where they were or where they were heading to next. "Well, shall we go to the training field to meet up with your new team mate? You'll also be able to train more effectively with a partner rather than a training dummy don't you think?"

Austin smiled and nodded. "I know it's not really cool of Daniel to do that, but I'd rather him partner with someone else than mess the two of us up when we are on a mission and get us all killed. I'll meet you there Yamata." Austin smiled as he opened the front door and walked out. ((exit))
