Putting almost no thought into the action the Turtwig known as Cragus would once more launch himself forward, limbs flailing wildly as he entered another Thrash!

Surprisingly enough this time the flame clad foal would manage to escape the Turtwig's relentless barrage, rendering it useless and causing it;s fury to swiftly cool. Snorting in annoyance the Turtwig would none the less run straight at his opponent. He wouldn't ready an attack, not even think about it. Sometimes the best defense was to fake an offense; and it was rather unnerving to aim at someone charging right at you!

Azure managed to barely avoid the attack. That had been a close one! Blue flames blazing as they surrounded him in a thick cloud, he pawed the ground with a hoof. Taking a couple of seconds to focus, he charged forward aiming to burn the Turtwig with Flame Charge!
The strategy of the Turtwig wouldn't quite work as planned. Although the force of the collision would be mitigated by the equal pressure and nature sturdiness of the Grass-Type's body, the flames couldn't be stopped from scorching his body lightly and sending him several steps back.
Just as he was ready to fly into a rage over that but, the firm command of his trainer could be heard "Cragus, Withdraw!" This was not in fact a command to pull back however, but in. Though he cast a glare at his opponent the Turtwig would pull his body into his shell, attempting to catch his breath and form a sturdier defense.

Azure barely hit the Turtwig. Bit by bit, he was slowly but surely bringing the grass pokemon down. Now he just needed to see if he should attack or go on the defensive. Pausing to think about it, he watched the Turtwig carefully. Seeing that he wasn't charging towards him, Azure decided to take the risk. Letting the flames engulf him, he charged aiming to Counter with Flame Charge!
"Cragus return! Boldar second line!" The Pokemon's impossing and militaristic trainer would bark, calling back one Pokemon within seconds of it's defeat only to bring out round two.
Snow would spray as the sky blue Poikemon hit the ground, curling into a ball and rolling like a wheel at high speed, circling and spraying snow to cover it's entrance before landing flat on it's feet. Hunkering down it was clear from the get go this Phanpy wouldn't be an easy match!
