So I have this small sore in my v****a and today I went to the bath room and noticed it was bleeding very lightly. At first I thought "wow I caught my period right when it started" but then I realized it was the sore. Its not an STD but my boyfriend and I are physically active, not sex, but fingering and stuff. I've also masturbated a few times. I had a yeast infection a month or so ago, could it just be the last signs of that? Maybe I accidentally just cut myself with a razor? I'm kind of freaked out. It might burn but I'm hoping the salt water at the beach tomorrow might help because salt water is good for wounds.
On a side note... My mom is very "anti doctors" when ever possible so to get rid of the yeast infection I just ate a lot of yogurt and took these "probiotic enhancer" vitamins. Thats what she usually does when she gets a yeast infection I guess....

If you shave down there (which isn't recommended by the way since it increases your chance of getting an infection), then it is possible that you cut yourself shaving. It's possible that you scratched yourself with your fingernail or that your boyfriend scratched you with his. It could be a pimple. It could be an irritated spot from scratching because of a pimple, razor burn, the yeast infection, etc. There are a few possibilities. We won't be able to tell you exactly what it is. Luckily, it's probably nothing to panic about. But you will need to see a doctor if it doesn't clear up soon. If your mom won't take you, see if there is a clinic like Family Planning or Planned Parenthood near you. They can take a look and give you something to clear it up if need be, even if you're underage and don't have money or your mom's consent. And they won't even tell her that you were there. In the meantime, I'd say keep an eye on it. Keep it clean and dry. Don't sit around in a wet bathing suit for too long. Try not to scratch at it. And stop shaving, at least in that area and at least until it heals.
