If you had seen in the Summer topic, I announced I was -going- to go to Phoenix Comicon. Well, despite fate trying one final cruel move to screw me out this year, I made it, because my friend declared "**** it, I'm going".
Well, it came, we got eaten by zombies, and it went.
It was... great fun. Even if the zombies had their Apocolypse
(*That link is... just a gag.*), and I got a bit bruised (well, a lot. Those zombies didn't actually follow the rules, and a few people got really hurt.) Friday was by far the best day thanks to being the day with the good rave, which was "masquerading" as a High-School of the Dead Party (Actually, it had nothing to do with that "meh" anime- it was just a zombie-themed rave. And it was glorious). There simply was not enough rave outside of that. I was kinda sad. Oh well. The convention area was like a two-mile block, so, I suppose, I wouldn't have had much towards dancing anyways.
As far as other things:
My grand regret: Not having a camera. True, my hand was forced in this, but it was still... D:
The funniest thing: "How to draw sexy (trap) women"... panel on how well, EWISOTT, with the "trap" part added on, due to all of the "It's a trap!" jokes the audience and the panelists started making.
Runners up: Ragequitters Anonymous(Hilarious, the whole thing)...and the Tales of... Panel (For the Me:"Symphonia. I've beaten it 213 times." Someone ("X" ): "YOU'RE HUFF N PUFF 20 FROM GAMEFAQS AREN'T YOU!?" Me:"Yeah, who the **** are you?"... Panelist:"What you're favorite shipping?" Me: *Places airsoft pistol on the table* X: "Are you really asking that with Huff N Puff in here?" things.)
Secondary runner up: Randomly spoiling FE:Awakening to Marth players on Smash in the Gaming room. I got some glorious rage out of that (Most, who raged, went off on the way I spoiled it. [Lit: "Marth... is, in the new Fire Emblem game, literally a girl." (Not that it makes him any less epic. Lucina is awesome. And DLC Marth is actually Marth, and is still a guy.)]... as a note: Like 20 or so raged that I said that for the fact that I blew the mystery of "Masked Marth", and 3 people already knew. (I was doing that all 3 days. Sadly, compared to my last Sabo, the game room of PCC sucked, too much MvC. Not enough Shump stations. Too much CoD. No Halo.)
Irritating thing: It cost $5 to get into the Masquerade this year. (No, not to perform in it, but to watch it.) WHY??!!? This isn't a video game. They aren't Capcom.
Dramacon moment: De-flippin-nied. No, I didn't get a Ha-ha-you-got-rejected, no, a friend of mine got stood up on a date. Afterwards, we started trolling the girl who did it, after finding/figuring out she was off being well... *ahem*, I'd liken her to Post-Ch3-Lachesis, if you know what I mean. The end results were funnier than the usual.
In the end... best 4 days I've had in a long time. Hallelujah.
