Introduction
Many of you may not know (in fact, I think none of you do) that I have been formally studying parapsychology and the paranormal since I was fourteen under various teachers and paranormal investigators.
Note: Parapsychologists study a number of ostensible paranormal phenomena, including telepathy, precognition, clairvoyance, psychokinesis, near-death experiences, reincarnation and apparitional experiences.
Most recently, I have finished my introductory and intermediate studies in Demonology and will be moving on to more advanced material. As such, I felt it would be interresting and instructional to create this subforum.
Why I believe in the paranormal...
Apart from countless experiences and evidence in my life, it is a simple scientific fact. Our bodies are run by energy - there can be no denying; our central nervous system alone functions on energy. I am sure we all remember the scientific law: Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, only displaced (or only converted from one form to another). So... where does our energy go? What does it become? The answer is all around us. If you have not had a paranormal experience, you will. You might have already had one. You might never know it. It's all around us and it doesn't always shout "BOO!"
Sometimes it's more subtle. It may be a stranger that passed you on the stairs; you thought there was something strange about them, but you brushed it off. Perhaps you felt as if someone was touching your arm, or felt a gentle breath on your neck. Perhaps you felt someone watching you at some point, but knew you were alone. You might have even heard your name called but could find no one who knew you. Has your skin ever prickled when entering a hotel, or perhaps an older building? That is the evidence of energy around you, energy from the departed and the imprints of the events of their lives. Just because it is not obvious, doesn't mean it is not real.
There are things that go bump in the night and though you may not be able to see them... they can see you.

If you do not believe, do not post - we will not tolerate any skepticism, harassing, name calling, negativity, etc. If you have no experiences, please do not make some up. I have been studying and training for many years due to countless experiences in my youth and throughout my life - I will know when someone is making something up. There are plenty of other things for you to do - learn, offer helpful advice from what you know, ask the captain (me) questions about the paranormal (investigating, etc.), read stories, or view photos.
Last but not least, if you need help with something - DO NOT try anything anyone suggests without first consulting someone with experience. I would be one of these people. I may direct you to someone more seasoned and experienced if I cannot help.
No matter what, you should always ask me or a professional before trying anything - what may start out as advice given with the best intentions of helping may actually make things much worse. A famous saying is "Once you open a door, you never know what will come in. That is something you cannot control."
IMPORTANT: Please note that I have just begun the advanced demonology courses and have not yet taken/passed examinations for certification. I can give you information, but I cannot perform blessings or exorcisms. If you believe that you or someone you know (or a building you work at/live in) is under posession of a demonic or several demonic entities, please seek professional help IMMEDIATELY. Even if you are not Catholic, I recomend contacting a Catholic church. They are the only ones who will even consider performing exorcisms, blessings, and cleansings after a period of observation. If Catholic churches in your area cannot/will not help, please seek out help from other Catholic churches online or professional demonologists/paranormal researchers. The latter two usually know how to find someone who can and will help if they themselves cannot.
