Hiya again guys!!!!!!!!
I got some good news! Well exciting for me anyway..XD
It seems their are things needing to be solved in the world of Van'diel.
--One thing, has anyone found the hidden room in Danguf Wandi? If so take pictures and post it here XD I'm going to try to find it myself. Not sure if a lvl 29whm can stand agsint the monsters there but this mystery calls me! >:- )
--Second thing, The deaths of the people from Palborough Mines. In bastok Mines in the Inn,near the poor living corridors(XD i didn't name them that),in the first room, an NPC named Eiki is investigating it, but can a Eiki really find anything out as a NPC. NOPE, yet again Miya is seraching for clues! Eiki, is the grandson of one of the miners who died. The NPC will tell you to put flowers at the gravesight, if you guys want to find the gravesight it's at the top of the hill in North Gustaberg. When approaching the grave(have to have accepted the quest) you place the item on the gravestone, however at the end is faded away. It reads "Vig_ _ _ _t O _ _" Not even eiki knows whn you return to him. Hm.. wonder who could it be? And how did the Palborough Miners die? Why is it that the Quads are taking over Palborough Mines? Are the beastmen up to something? Do they have the mentality to be up to something let alone think? Palborough Mines holds a mystery, dam... where's scooby's gang when ya need them?

Bestman my appere stupid but there just as smart as us, just more savage, cause they can use magic and create wepons you know...abou those questions you ask maybe it has something to do with the war 20 years ago...hmmm...

HM!! The war 20 years ago? NOW WERE TALKING! Those anyone have infor on the war that occured 20 years ago in Van'diel? Or was it van'diel? Plz post ANY info you know!

Ta-ta Miya Vana'diel is the name of the entire world, so I'm sure it occured in Vana'diel. The battle shown in the beginning was the Beastmen conquering of the nation of Tavnazia, which you can visit if you have Chains of Promathia installed.

As of now i'm stating i do not have the Chains of Prom...yea.. BUT good news i read on a new update some Chains of P quests, areas, and job will be uploaded into FFXI rise of Z! =D yea! With Banish 3! Which i'm actually looking forward to =D whoopi!
NOW for the NEWS. XD It seems in |Giddues| if you go deep enough there is a chamber for the quest of rank 3 to defeat the dragon if you don't already know this there Is a pretty easy NM down there!! The also cool thing, this monsters which are the windy version of orcs and quads, can be smn, brd, war, and sam as well as the usal whm and blm quds are. But has anyone seen a bard quadov??? if you have post it here ^^

The update that involve Chains of Promathia areas, you will not have access to. Rise of the Zilart was the first expansion but as of recently, Square-Enix merged the game itself with the first expansion. The expansions mearly add the files required to visit some new areas released with the expansions. Without Rise of the Zilart, you would be unable to visit some places such as Kazham and unable to unlock the Samurai, Ninja, and Dragoon jobs. With Chains of Promathia, new missions have been added for you to do along with new areas to explore and do some events that parts of the update is doing.
In order to view some places, you'll be needing that expansion.
Anyways...Referring to your first post. In the first thing, the hidden room is one of many found aroudn Vana'diel. Within these rooms are devices known as Strange Apparatus. These devices are used by trading in two items (An Infinity Core and a colored chip that coresponds with the Strange Apparatus) to obtain a different item from the Rune weapons to clusters to an Arcane Flowerpot or to even ingots. The item you recieve is completely random.
