My mom is ordering tickets to Wicked in Chicago right now! I'm so excited! We're going on our spring break, on April 5 ^.^
So, what Broadway/Chicago plays and musicals have you all seen? This will be my 2nd. My first was Chicago.

The only plays/musicals I've seen have been on Broadway in NY. I've seen Wicked (Twice), Phantom of the Opera, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Brooklyn, Barefoot in the Park, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

I've seen the Broadway Across America productions. No actual Broadway, though. BAA is pretty awesome though. Of those I've seen RENT, The Producers and Phantom of the Opera. I wanted to see Wicked, but it was sold out before I could get the money to afford the tickets.

Being the nerd that I am I only came into this thread because it shares its title with one of my favorite books. xd

Gah, I haven't actually seen anything on Broadway on in Chicago. But I've seen a ton of shows on tour at the Dallas Summer Musicals. End of March I'm seeing Phantom of the Opera and then end of June I'm seeing Les Miserables. Both my first time seeing those shows done (which is like... a sin since I'm such a theatre kid...)

Well, I've seen a few in my two trips to NYC, but not all of my favorites.
In my first trip (May 2002), I saw:
The Producers The Lion King
In my more recent trip (January 2005), I was able to see:
Avenue Q (AWESOMELY HILARIOUS!!!) Rent (Sweet!!) Wicked (Not a better play on the market today!) Brooklyn (2nd best musical never to make it big) Movin' Out Hairspray

Phantom or Les Mis was my first one. I saw the original cast of J&H. That was the cult fave before Rent and Cabaret. As well as, of course, the cult fave of today, Wicked.
