Hey, I know this is a Guild Wars 2 forum, but I was wondering about what everybody played in Guild Wars 1. What is your favorite class/class combo. How far through the game you got, Favorite campaign, etc.

I have played GW1 since beta and my favorite campaign is probably Factions. I just really enjoyed the theme the most, but I enjoyed all of the campaigns especially Prophecies for the nostalgia. I went through all 3 campaigns and Eye of the North with my Warrior/Ranger. Its really strange because I don't play melee classes in MMORPGS ever normally. My favorite class is probably either the Ritualist or the Mesmer though. When it comes to my Warrior I just loved having my Giant Pink Moa bird fighting besides me as we clobbered monsters.

This is one of my favorite games of all time and I can't wait for Guild Wars 2... So excited.

I would be very surprised if they closed down GW just because GW2 came out. Diablo 1 is still open on Battle.net and the 3rd one just came out. I.have no idea though, I just really hope it stays open.

I've switched mains a couple times on GW1 but my current profession is mesmer. I'm beyond done with the game, though - reached my HoM goal and I have everything I want in the game.
