Arrkgjhghhhhurghhhh, I hate when TV, manga, and book series pull the amnesia card.
I'm just like WHAT. WHY.
Usually it's just done so poorly, and it's just so overused, and more often than not it just shows that the people driving out ideas have just flat run out of gas.
ITT: plot twist pet peeves.

Irk, the amnesia card.
One of my most dearly hated plot twists is the "hears the wrong part of a conversation and goes into full-blown teenage girl melodrama about it " twist.
Just.... no.

Everything Toon said.
Also the "falls in love within 8 seconds of meeting someone while dating their best friend who you also fell in love with within about 8 seconds". It happens. It's terrible. Seriously, people- Not every positive emotion about someone is you being "madly in love" with them!
And the "Because fate said so!" thing pisses me off. Why? Why did fate say so? Why couldn't it have been anyone else? I believe fate to be shaped around individuals, not the opposite.
In other words, most manga and anime just pisses me off xD
