"Look, I don't wanna fight you, but..." she pointed her blade towards the boy and said, "I have no choice."

Velvet jumped towards him and lunged her blade towards him.

He looks back and sees Tyger disappearing into the clouds.

"Well, it appears that we don't have to quarrel after all. All I promised was to hold you back until Young makes her escape, and I have done it. I never intended to fight you in the first place. I bid you farewell for now. Maybe our paths will cross again someday, or maybe not."

He disappears in a puff of thick black smoke.

Sitting on a ledge underneath the clouds, Lucas waits for the demon to come through the clouds. Palutena had sent an urgent message to him.

When she does, he leaps off the ledge and rips off the music box, pulling back up towards the clouds. This was the plan. Hide in the clouds, or get Velvet's help.

"No!" she yelped, panicking. If he opened it...

Quickly following after him, she slashed at him as they emerged on the other side of the cloud bank, back to where the other angel and that person with the hat had been.

The silver music box hit the ground and the lid sprang open. She yelped in horror and tried to close it, but she was too slow. The moment the tinkly noise hit her ears, she felt the most horrible pain. She screamed in pain and clawed at her ears, trying to stop it.

Velvet heard a sound from afar and sped up her flight towards the direction of the noise.

"Well Lady Palutena, looks like I've found it," she said flying to avoid the fireballs that had been hitting her. The Underworld forces were here. "Tch...And tell Lucas to hurry over here."

She shot projectiles at the creatures trying to stop her.
