At six foot two, Liam is a tall and tanned blonde man with warm brown eyes and a sparse and faint streak of freckles across his nose and under-eyes. His face has sharp and thin features with a sharp jaw and strong cheekbones, a nose that comes to a small dainty point. A frequent and wide smile brightens up his face, exposing his dimples. His hair is combed back as best he can manage, but an obnoxious curl bang falls into his forehead. If only there were some kind of spray for hair that would avoid such catastrophes!
Liam is a well-groomed man, some may say beautifully groomed. He has an eye for appearances and a standard that he keeps himself to tightly; he is in shape - more tall and lean than muscular - but it isn't without work. He was raised with some wealth in the artisan class and inherited the business from his father after his death, and dresses accordingly, and sometimes beyond that when business at its strongest.

Liam is a quite the chatterbox, to no man's surprise. The duty of a barkeep practically requires it. He likes to talk with others about their lives and dilemmas, but certainly not his own. His own life is kept private, very private. As a man at his age and never seen with a girl on his arm or in his life, questions have been asked about himself but he always responds with the same tragic story of his one and only love lost. But the story is a fib, nothing more than a retelling of a story from a former patron.
He fears that the private details of his personal life may come to light and harm his business, so he keeps his life to himself and lives vicariously through the stories of others. The weight of his secrets are a burden on him, but luckily he lives above and works in a pub. The pub is his home, not just physically, but it was where he was raised and has the most fond memories, and behind the bar he gets great satisfaction talking about the stress of others, forgetting about his own dilemmas.
ABILITIES
While not quite an ability, having been practically raised in The Drunken Dragon, small talk and gossip has become a part of his trade, and it is something he has learned to manage quite well. He has an ear for gossip and stories, and giving generic and hardly insightful advice to his drunken patrons rambling about their nagging wives, difficult living or obvious alcoholism. He doesn't seek the gossip, but he plays the role well of a listening ear that promises discretion.
When conversations turn beyond this or shift to his own life, Liam tends to clam up. He'll insist that he is just a private man, but it is a fear of exposure that keeps him hushed. A few drinks may get him lose, but his personal life is something he feels needs to be discreet - with buried secrets of private deviance and shady dealings. When he has enough liquid courage in him to let some of his secrets known to others with the same interests, his attempts to get more personal with them are often an awkward failure.
Furthermore, while he may promise discretion to his patrons, he isn't always the best at keeping it. A little bribery, leverage or mere pressure will get him to spill the beans. Thankfully, nobody has come a'knocking about his own life yet.
As for his talents, in addition to small talk, The Drunken Dragon's home-brewed ale is a favorite among some people of the city, bringing in a regular patronage, and the recipe is a family trade that he continues to brew.
