I've noticed that there's at least two members here who seem to do little else besides copying and pasting articles written by other people, or just post a link to an article or video. (Maybe it's the same user with more than one account, I dunno.)
I have no problem with people posting relevent links and articles, but it seems like that's ALL these people(s?) do, and I'm frankly a little irritated that he/she/they never seem to post anything in their own words.
Maybe we could have a sticky or subforum for posting links and articles or something along that nature, because said links and articles are not without their value. I just don't feel they're terribly appropriate for forums centred around discussion.
Any thoughts? Am I the only one bothered by this?

I can see where you are coming from and I think that a subfourm for links and vids would be nice.
I think that discussion threads should have their own forum and the vids and articles should have their own forum.
It just makes sense to me, or maybe I just love organization too much..
However I would like to see it happen.

You aren't the only one. The problem with making more subforms is it will make the guild feel depleted. Also what I've noticed in other guilds is that there isn't much of a discussion in the discussion subforums because people don't like clicking on the subforums. It will keep some important threads from getting the attention they deserve.
After a while I delete threads to clean up the guild, like multiples. I've been debating deleting some of those threads because it's spamming up the guild.

I believe its the same person Robotic Chewie, and Epic Dutch. They post the same freaking things. and not only is it ONLY copy and paste, a lot of times the copy and paste has been something offensive on some level. I sent a warning to chewie the first time, and then this epic dutch dude started. Who thinks i should send an official warning about the copying and pasting? Its not just us the crew frustrated with this guy. Several members have come to me about it.

I don't think that by adding one more sticky that you'll be hurting anything. Activity comes with members the more members the better off you will be, plus if you keep the fourms active you shouldn't have a problem with it.
I love debating and discussing but I'm too lazy to hunt through vids and articals to do any of that.

I've also have gotten a report from a nonbeliever that came in and she told me that chewie started harassing her with tracts.

I'm in total agreement that too many subforums is not a good thing. It just makes everything feel way too spread out, and it always seems like only a few of them end up getting used anyway. A sticky for links and articles would have my support, however.
I had no idea they were harrassing someone with tracts. That's definitely not cool. Harrassing someone in the first place is not okay, but spamming them with tracts is just insulting. I've always found tracts annoying. They pretty much only exist for people who are either too lazy or too stupid to be able to articulate their own beliefs and make their own arguments. Maybe that's a harsh over-generalisation, but point is, they have no place in an actual discussion.
Maybe it's time to consider dusting off ye olde ban hammer?

Ive been thinking on this pretty long. Im gonna have to pray about it, but i really want to ban this guy. I just wish he was breaking more rules. seeing as we KNOW its the same dude, one warning has already been issued out. If he offends one more person, or breaks one more rule, He is being banned. Everybody ok with that?

I don't care if you ban him or not, I just hate seeing him post links and videos all the time. I cant watch vids and it makes me mad when a link goes to it cause I cant watch it or debate about it. D:
Then with articles I don't care about those, but I wish there would be at least an argument or something started besides just a post with a link. D:
