1. Opponent has Yubel Ultimate Nightmare on the field. (Effect is continues)
2. I summon Slifer. IN WHICH in quote "This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. >>When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated.<< This is applying 2 effects am I correct? The sentence ended with a period. Therefore new sentence = more effects.
Does Slifer force your opponent to not activate ANY card the turn he's summoned? Including continues effects? I know it applies to me as well. But my opponent is complaining about this. Yet Slifer forces effects not to activate. I would assume continues effect's aswell.

You cannot negate the summon of slifer or activate ant spell or trap cards in response to the successful summon of slifer the sky dragon. once he has been summoned, the turn player now may start a new chain or attempt to change phases. he will not prevent effects and cards from being activate AFTER he is summoned, just WHEN he is summoned.
