Dizzy_Kat Weighted NetScore: 65 Tyrisk: 18 Sasar: 20 If one of them could just land a decent hit on the bronze Sasar would feel comfortable using his net. He actually found himself at a loss as to what to do. As much as the brown aggravated him he didn't want him dead. Tyrisk limped as he tried to circle behind the Bronze, glad for the moment to let Kazzisk feel the brunt of his rage. (Forgot to Roll, editing previous post with this result)

Careesi looked on feeling helpless. There wasn't much that she herself could do at the moment. She wouldn't be any decent in hand to hand combat with the wher, even if she wasn't already injured. Currently the bronze was still too strong for her to try to use her net. She would only have one chance and with her injured arm she didn't think she would stand much of a chance. All she could do now was watch and wait for the right moment.
With the bronze's attention now focused on Kazzisk, the blue was in more trouble than he had been before. Taking the new challenge, he put as much force as he could into his next hit, claws out and mouth wide open he charged at the bronze...

Careesi watched as Kazzisk leapt at the bronze and got in a hit. Once again it didn't look as if the hit had done much damage, but a hit was still a hit. If Kazzisk could keep landing attacks and manage to get in some better ones she might be able to use her rope. Might being the key word. Carefully, Careesi tested her left arm, trying to asses the damage. As she tried to flex it she grit her teeth at the pain. It certainly wasn't in as good of shape as she would have liked, but the pain was still tolerable. Although Careesi had a feeling it might be a while before she would be able to use it again.
After landing his hit, Kazzisk darted back and away from the wher, trying to stay out of reach. The blue continued to pace and circle with the bronze. Careesi hoped that with Kazzisk keeping the Bronze's attention, Tyrisk might have a chance to recover from his wounds. Or at least he might not end up any worse. The woman watched as Kazzisk lunged once again, this time he aimed for the Bronze's throat...

...and once again Careesi watched the blue hit. Just as his last attack, this one didn't appear to be too particularly strong either, but it was still a hit. If the blue could keep this up then perhaps he could actually weaken the wher enough for her to try to use her rope. Still though, Careesi didn't trust her arm well enough to try just yet. Just a little longer, let the whers work the feral one down a little more. Soon enough she would be able to make her move.
Once again Kazzisk moved away from the bronze after his attack. Always trying to stay one step ahead of the feral bronze. He circled with it once more, still trying to keep its attention before leaping on it once more. This time he tried to attack it from the side, claws out and teeth bared.

Feral Wher: 25
That blue was fast for his size, the quick swipes, the iritating bites... the smaller wher harried the larger one, stoking his temper until all the bronze saw was red. Eyes whirling a frightening blend of blood red and white, he roared and lunged at the blue - the brown forgotten - and recevied a punishing counter attack that forced him to fall back with a cry of pain.
Ichor oozed down his front and as he staggered back up to his feet, the bronze shook himself out and lowered his head, the snarl one of a creature determined to fight or die trying.
Another bull rush, trampling everything underfoot, and the slick slope worked against him, the mud giving way so that he jerked and his trajectory sent him wide of the blue. Huffing, he turned around and snarled again.

Careesi watched as the two whers clashed together. Soon she should be able to use her rope, but not just yet. Her good hand held the rope fondly, fingers stroking over the strong material. She just needed to bide her time for now, just another hit or two and she would be able to use the rope.
Kazzisk rounded to face the bronze once more, rushing towards him he closed the distance between the two. As he charged he managed to keep his footing, avoiding sliding on the mud as the bronze had. Readying himself, he leaped once more, claws and teeth bared.

Once more Careesi watched as the blue wher struck the bronze. She knew that choosing Kazzisk had been the right choice. He had been so eager for battle earlier, and now he was certainly fulfilling the unspoken promise. She watched as each attack he made landed on the feral bronze and succeeded in keeping the brown from taking the brunt of the damage. The blue wher appeared to be faster than the bronze despite his abnormally large size for a blue. One more attack, she thought to herself. One more attack and then she would try the rope. Just one more. She readied the rope in her hand, waiting for the blue to take another shot.
Kazzisk's teeth came down on the bronze once more, and again he leaped out of the way before the bronze could land an attack. Soon his prey would be down, and he would be victorious. Just a few more hits now. The blue circled around the bronze a few more times, waiting for an opening before he tried to attack again. Then, spotting his chance, he made his attack once more.

Careesi grinned as the blue landed his attack on the bronze once again. Now, now would be her chance. "Kazzisk, hold back." She called to the wher and watched as he followed her commands. The blue had done his share of the work and now it was her turn to do what she needed to do. The woman readied the rope with her good arm, doing her best not to hurt her injured one. She had only this one shot to get the wher. If she missed now she doubted that she could try again. Careesi examined the rope in her hand, would it hold? She knew it was strong, knew it should hold, but would it? This was one of those times that she wished she knew of a better way to use the rope, but she would simply have to make do.
Taking in a deep breath, Careesi steadied her hand and threw the rope like she had practiced back home, hoping it would land just the way that it would need to.
---
Careesi watched as the rope flew through the air and landed on the wher's side, missing his head completely and laying there utterly useless. She cursed her injury as it sent a shooting pain down her arm in protest at being used. She had failed and she knew it.

Weighted Net Score: 77 Tyrisk: 18 Sasar: 20
Careesi's blue was fast. Where Tyrisk's size had him at a disadvantage the blue used his expertly. Sasar was grudgingly impressed. Tyrisk needed to reserve his strength for more thought out attacks rather than trying to dive about as Kazzisk was. The tunnelvisioned brown didn't understand that though. Once again he dove straight at the injured bronze, meaning to take advantage of his injured state. This would end with a dead wher one way or another.

The combined efforts of the two whers had certainly done their damage to the feral bronze. As Tyrisk landed another moderate hit Sasar watched as Careesi's rope thumped uselessly against the brutes hide. he shook his head disgusted. He knew she wouldn't be a help. It was only luck she'd chosen a good fighter. The bronze was almost down now.
"Here's how you do it!" He flung the net for the second time that night. It didn't do as well as it had before, the bronze was larger and the net was already damaged from it's previous use. Still it struck the wher's hide and clung.

Tyrisk took this last opportunity as the net landed to get another blow in. His ichor flowed freely, mixing on the ground with that of the bronze wher and what little Kazzisk had spilled. The ground was churned up into a slippery mess by clawed feet and he felt his balance off, but nothing was stopping this blood crazed brown. He would see his opponent defeated.
His own injuries proved too much for him though as he lost his footing and hit the ground, his final attack failed.

The Feral Wher’s pain and anger had so clouded its mind that it was having trouble standing, let along fending off the blue’s frenzied attacks. Small, hits, all of them, but numerous small hits added up to a larger wound not so easily dismissed. The blood was flowing, staining the ground, and time after time he snapped or swiped at the blue only to be evaded. His back had turned to the brown, its attention focused solely on the blue and that left it vulnerable to the brown when Tyrisk finally gathered himself. Claws raked along his back, rending wing and skin that made the bronze scream in agony. Rearing up to face the threat, he caught talons across the throat, slicing through vital regions and the net met him full on and he staggered, the weight of the net tangling his limbs and dragging through wounds. A burbling mewl of pain and fear escaped him as he tottered for a moment, ichor flowing hot and thick down his body. With a roar that was more like a forced breath, he surged forward in one last attack at the bronze. The net tripped him, however, as he fell to the ground, life left him and his eyes settled, finally, into the milky white of death. The Bronze Wherhandler approached then, arms crossed but smiling, "Well done. Here, come back to the barn and we'll get your wounds tended to. Collect your net and your rope, you may keep them as a reminder of this day. Follow me." Turning then, he lead them back towards the barn. ===== SPECIAL NOTE: You've got until 4pm to post any closing responses.

Careesi watched as the feral wher fell to the ground, taking in its last breaths. Once it was dead, she let out a heavy sigh of relief that she hadn't realized that she had been holding. Carefully she approached the wher, still afraid that it might move again even though she knew that it wouldn't. Gently, Careesi bent down to pick up the length of rope that she had flung at the wher. It hung limp in her good hand as she examined it. Had she herself been uninjured she may very well have actually been able to use it. Perhaps in the future once her arm had healed she might make use of it.
Hearing the man behind her, the woman hastily pocketed the rope and called Kazzisk to her. She let the wher know that he had done an excellent job. Really had it not been for the blue she didn't want to think of how the battle might have turned out otherwise. Gingerly, Careesi stood back up and followed the man in the direction of the barn. She was certainly relieved that she would be able to get some treatment for her wounds finally.
