Personality: Persephone is a trickster. she will say or do anything if she thinks it will be funny, even if it has the potential to physically or emotionally hurt others. She is the sort of person who is completely indifferent when it comes to how others view her, and knows to only waste her time on people she finds interesting or entertaining. People's first impression of her is usually that she is a friendly and rather sarcastic person who seems nice enough, but unless they do something to gain her trust, she will just as easily make fun of or take advantage of them as be nice to them. She is a bold person, unafraid to meet new people and make new enemies, and she has absolutely no fears of showing off her "condition." even using her abilities to create even more mischief... or at least, that's what she says. In reality, she would give anything to be able to stick to one gender, even more so than her brother, who at least feels comfortable being a girl when a girl, and being a boy when a boy.
When (or rather, if) she ever does make real friends, she starts making fun of them all the time. This is her way of showing affection, as she has deemed that her friends are people who can truly know when her insults are just jokes. However, when push comes to shove, she is undyingly loyal to them, even if she has a hard time expressing how she feels.
Bio: Persephone has had a fairly normal life. Her parent's have remained happily married for years. Her father is a lawyer for a prestigious law firm, and her mother is a stay at home mom, so her family has always been very comfortably middle class. And to top it all off, she's never had any close friends or family ruthlessly murdered. Yep, as a matter of fact, if it wasn't for the condition that her and her brother share, her life would have been totally normal. But it isn't. Her condition has been the cause of much rejection and isolation from those outside her family, but instead of turning in on herself and becoming an introvert like her brother, she fought back, becoming an outgoing mischief inducing trickster who made sure to activate her abilities whenever she felt like it. In fact, for a while she switched back and forth so much, that she doesn't even have a preferred gender anymore. She loves her brother dearly. In truth, he is currently her only friend, and the fact that she is technically the elder sibling causes her to be quite overprotective of him. Of course, she finds his insecurity with his condition to be hilarious, and takes any chance that she can to make him switch back and forth. She's also been known to impersonate him from time to time for particularly nasty practical jokes. In an attempt to give her a more normal life, her parents sent her to a boarding school in scotland and her brother to one in england. Because of this, she speaks with a slight scottish accent. Unfortunately, her uncaring attitude towards her abilities and who saw her use them caused her to become a bit of a loner at this, and once her parents heard about rosentale, they immediately decided to send her there in hopes that the more accepting environment would earn this trouble child a few friends. They also gave her a gift from the mikelovitch's family doctor, a researcher studying the twins bizarre condition. An earring that released a particular electromagnetic signature that stops her from transforming. It appears to work too...
Skills and Abilities: Whenever Persephone makes eye contact with someone of the opposite gender as her, she changes into a man, becoming Pierce. This change is both in sex and gender, which can be seen in a slight personality difference between her forms. Whenever Pierce makes eye contact someone of the opposite gender as him, he changes back to Persephone. She also looks completely identical to her brother/sister, and is very good at pretending to be him/her. (the personality is usually what gives her away, that or the accent.)
Character Flaws: Callous - She has absolutely no regard for how other people feel except for her absolute closest friends, and even then, she acts as though she doesn't care.
Manipulative - She'll act however she needs to to get whoever she wants to to act however she wants to.
Stubborn - it's not that she's right, it's that you're an idiot.
