Hi! I'm relatively new to the game and made my very first deck without any help! This deck is a little odd but I feel like it has potential to be really good. I'm open to ideas and other cards that could work better.

There seem to be way too many high level monsters in this deck.

Try finding the biggest monster you want to include, then put in a total of at most mabe 8-10, with some spells and traps to help in summoning them and the remaining monsters (of 20) being stuff that's level 4 or lower to help bring them out.

The deck is made to use the the high level monsters. Athena, Darklord Superbia, and Vahalla make it very easy to get all of theses monsters out with their special summon/reborn abilities. These even give me a sick loop where I keep summoning monsters and do to Athenas effect my opponent takes a lage amount of stacking effect damage. Other cards like Archlord Kristya, Chaos Sorcerer, Black Luster Soldier Envoy of the Beginning, and Dark Armed Dragon can all be summoned by setting up the graveyard with Trade-in with also doubles as a draw engine. I was thinking about adding a line of Dark Valkyria as a low level beat stick but I feel like it would slow down the deck a lot.

I keep the trap count low in hopes of making it more anit-meda with trap lock down but I was thinking of adding maybe 2 Torrential Tributes to give me a little wiggle room to help me set up my summon loop.

Other cards I was thinking was to add A Foolish Burial to help dump needed cards and a Marshmellon to help me stall and and another light target.

What do you think of that?

That reliance on just 3 copies of a spell card though put you at a heavy disadvantage to decks that target the back field.

Traps:
Call of the Haunted x3
Royal Decree x2

-2 Asmodeus
-1 Superbia
-2 Athena
-2 Light and Darkness Dragon
-1 Chaos Sorcerer
-2 Krystia
-3 Trade-In
-1 Allure
-2 Call of the Haunted
-2 Royal Decree

+3 Agent of Creation Venus
+1 Agent of Mystery Earth
+3 Mystical Shine Ball
+3 Gallis the Star Beast
+3 Genex Ally Birdman
+2 Master Hyperion
+1 Sangan
+3 Pot of Duality

The Agents add a little consistency and add targets to use with Herald. Gallis puts Superbias and all those Light and Dark monsters you need for the Boss monsters (BLS, Chaos Sorcerer, Dark Armed Dragon, Archlord Krystia, etc.) Plus since most monsters are High Level, Gallis Effect will do major damage. Birdman to Recycle Gallis and make for a great synchro option.

I've tried running a darklord deck and I found that 3 superbia and 3 zerato was a bit much as you only need 1 superbia in the grave for the combo, also if you're running Light and Darkness Dragon you might want to run mausoleum of the emporer just to make summoning it easier and also allowing 2 big lv8 summons in 1 turn. I also found that running lightsworns can help to mill and solar recharge can increase the draw power but that does change the build a bit. Hope I helped, smile
