It's a cartoon featured in Cartoon Network about the Grim Reaper and his two friends, Billy and Mandy. The kids tricked Grim into being best friends with them. Anyway, the whole show is about them getting into mischief and Grim suffering a lot of grief.
I saw a petition in the internet that wants to ban this children's cartoon, because it features paganism and the occult and encourages children to learn about the underworld.

I love that show it is sooooo funny. I have it set to time and record every night that it is on! I have PVR so I just watch it in the mornings, is my Saterday morning Cartoon and Courage the Couerdly Dog!...

no, I'm sorry, I see nothing wrong with our kids wanting to learn about the underworld, paganism, occult, or just poke fun at it.

I don't really think the show is suggestive per se...I don't even think it has subliminal messages for children. Maybe the people who made the petition were just worried that kids might want to imitate billy and mandy and try to befriend dark beings. xd

I love that show is so darnned funny ^_^. and I don't know how much grounds that petition may have... but it is interesting way to learn about diferent beings in diferent mythologies. But I mostly just watch it to laugh and have some fun.
PS: I also have a childish choice of TV programs. 3nodding

My fave is Grim, but I sort of feel sorry for him. He is so powerful, yet he gets picked on by little kids.

The Patision thing is crap! they tryed to do that with Spongbob, because for some reason, it some how promoted Homosexuality...

You are right, it does seam that way but, he really is just childish. But when I read why they were trying to ban him was the stupid thing here they are: (all this means a person is gay according to the parents that wanted him off the air) 1. He lives in a pinapple 2. He lives alone 3. He owns a cat 4. his best friend is a guy 5. He likes to sing and dance and wons stuffed animals... all those reasons seam rath silly to me..... Has any one seen the episod were Grim and Mandy are trying to cure Billys fear of clowns?

hmmm i have just recently been tuning in to the show...it seems like a mix between Ren & Stimpy, AaAAah Real Monsters, and Rocko's Modern Life.....yes the old school cartoons...and parents just like stuff thats safe, they think kids will do any and everything they see on t.v

About the spongebob thing, there was also an episode wherein Spongebob and Patrick sort of lived like husband and wife when they were taking care of this baby shell or something. I think some people are just overreacting because they have overactive imaginations. domokun
