First off, I'm not saying its wrong to do vocaloids, and I have done a number of them, but when I go to a con, vocaloids are everywhere. There are so little varieties in coses now cause vocaloids provide many alternative costumes for one character.
I really miss seeing the variety of long ago. Miku and gang are dulling in my eyes, yet more and more pretty cos possibilities pop up every other day =.=/
how is your cos community like? Mikus as far as the eye can see?

Ah yes, I'll admit to being a guilty party. I'll be doing variations on two vocaloids - however, one of them is so out there, I'm pretty sure most people won't even get I'm doing a vocaloid... which is cool. I do them mostly because I love the outfits more than the fact that they're vocaloids. >.>
But yeah, I get it. When you see so many of the same character, even variations, it kind of rubs you the wrong way and you want to see something else. I totally get it.
DontassassinatemeItalian420 D:

Hmm Vocaloid cosplay is fine IMHO. As long as you know who you're portraying and as long as you're giving the costume some justice (not some shitty costume that falls apart.), Its fine. Too bad its a different scene here, new cosplayers here just want attentin and fame. they cant think of anything else to cosplay so they resort to vocaloid... Heck, one even claimed that Hatsune Miku was from EVANGELION.
