Rhuidhen Is a blooming world that has had horrible wars between the ancient races of the past. The world is still littered by artifacts of their reigns but large structures no longer exist. Now new factions have risen to vie for dominance. All the races have a chance, but will deal with horrible plagues both new and those that are remnants of the past, such as zombie plagues and the monster hordes that wander the land. These ages will be fraught with peril and diplomacy,and Religious fervor and social reform. The darkness that will come to these races will be horrible but each has it's way to the glory of domination. Beware though no matter how powerful you become, even the most unbeatable race may be brought down by decadence.

Rules and how to play.

Rules:
1. Follow Gaia TOS
2. Follow guild rules
3. This is a mixed genre rp. so the sky is the limit, try to keep a dark age theme but other wise go wild.
4. That wasn't so hard was it.

How to play:
In this kind of rp instead of playing one character you play an entire race. Now that does not mean that you only do third person writing, having characters you tell the narrative of what's happening in the post is important to help with keeping up with the history that the game will make.

Now at first you will fill out the skeleton for your race (to come in next post)and pm that to me for acceptance. Once you have your race down pat, I'm sure you will have decided on what kind of land they will start so choose one that is appropriate and pm me the location and I will mark it for you. Once all the races have set up I will then place the three event races secretly and move them every so often and split them up at times, they will be a big annoyance to the players and give them other things to fight other than each other.
THE NEXT PARTS ARE LEFT UP TO THE PLAYERS TO DECIDE WHAT FITS!
when you play take distance into account the normal time per post would be:
short(within same zone, one zone over if not a large zone): 2 posts
medium ( into another zone if the zone is a moderate size): 4 posts
large posts(moving two zones away, sea or ice travel, or the zone is giant): 6 posts

Building things also falls under this time:
new, or large technology: 2-3 posts
complicated technology: 2-3 posts
common technology: 1-2 posts

Now on to battles:
Battles are decided upon either by consensus of the two (or more) players, or by a vote of the whole group(usually after both sides write their versions). Battles against event races are decided by consensus between my self and the player after seeing both sides written.

Magic, and developing technology:
The limits of technologies and magic are decided as the problem arises, and each case is looked at separately to avoid confusion on issues. and if your idea is shot down, you can come up with a post describing what happend to drive away your race from continuing the studies, (E.G. in sci-fi usually with teleportation the facility disapears to never be seen again.).

ACCEPTED PROFILES:

Name: Sharaiian
Physical description: The Sharaiian are very thin and beautiful with long white hair, ice blue eyes, and sharp features. They generally stand 6' to 7' tall and weigh only 120-135 lbs. they grow little to no facial hair.

culture: Jade Empire is militaristic and rigid. Honor pervades every inch of the ideals of the race. The species is split into clans but sub race, and then further by trade. The clans are:
Fox clan -largest students of the magics of their race.
Hare clan - defenders of the Northern plains
Wolf clan - Bandit hunters
Owl clan - hunters of daemons of the mountains
Mantis clan - The mightiest of the clans, their tactics are used by the lower clans
