Since everybody knows what shinigami, Quincies, Fullbringers, Humans, and Hollows are, allow me to help explain this new race.
Hellfires are a species of spiritual beings that are released after having been imprisoned in Hell for crimes that they committed when they were alive. It is rumored that the reason for Hellfires' white skin and hair is due to their years of torment in Hell. They literally turned white with fear in their time behind Hellish bars. Currently, their existence is unknown to both the World of the Living, as well as Soul Society.

 Shinigami are the balancers of souls. They are tasked with guiding souls to Soul Society and the purification of the "monsters" known as Hollow. Their existence is common knowledge to other races (minus humans). They currently hold several peace treaties and neutrality pacts with the different races, preserving peace for all.

 Visored are shinigami who have broken the rules of Soul Society and taken on the powers of Hollow. In truth, they are shinigami who have been forced under circumstance, experiment, or otherwise to take on Hollow powers. They are capable of donning a Hollow mask (granting them enhanced speed, strength, skill, the ability to create ceros, and others) for a limited amount of time.
Their existence has been common knowledge since the Winter War (minus humans). They currently hold a neutrality pact with Soul Society and the Quincy.

 The Quincy are a line of spiritually aware humans who have specifically trained themselves to combat the hollow threat. Unlike the purifying powers of shinigami, Quincy powers actually obliterate the hollow's soul, preventing it from going to Soul Society. This once caused a problem in the balance of souls the shinigami are charged to keep, resulting in a mass eradication of Quincy by the Soul Society. After the events of the Quincy War they stood on shaky ground with Soul Society but due to the efforts of Uryu Ishida the peace was, for the most part, preserved. At present their numbers are starting to grow again although they are closely monitored by the Soul Society.
They currently maintain a neutrality pact with Soul Society and the Visored.

Humans
Humans, definitely the most abundant race considering there are more than 7 billion of them on this earth. The vast majority of them are not spiritually aware, but those that are can see what is not usually unseen (shinigami, hollow, ghosts, etc). Some of these humans can develop powers and abilities outside the norm (Quincy and Fullbringers) though they usually conform to one of the other human-based races.
The humans cannot hold peace treaties or neutrality pacts with anyone considering they don't even know the other races exist.

 A minority of humans endowed with the powers of Hollows, Fullbringers come into being if their birth mother survives a hollow attack while they are still in the womb. They can manipulate the "soul" of matter, but the strongest manifestation of their powers comes from their attachment or fondness for an object. Once this link is formed they are able to train further to manifest their powers with the object taking precedence as the core of their abilities.
Fullbringers are mostly brought together by Xcution who are under no threat from Soul Society (due to being human) and hold a treaty with the Visored.

Hollows/Arrancar
The negative souls that feed off of Pluses and the living, it is the duty of the shinigami to purify these creatures. Those that attack the World of the Living are mostly new souls gone to attack their loved ones, and then remaining to strengthen themselves by feeding. Hollows are capable of evolving to higher forms but their strongest yet are the Arrancar, hollows who have removed their masks and gained shinigami-like powers, with whom Soul Society battled in the Winter War.
After the Winter War they formed a peace treaty with Soul Society. They have not been in contact with any race for years, but given their isolated nature this doesn't seem unusual.
