"Violet and Viviene, huh? Nice to meet you both," the Wavelength Meister said happily, silently thankful that these two students would give him an excuse to visit his mentor, Stein. He hadn't seen that old fart in such a long time, not since Yata left on a mission a year ago. His excitement was causing him to nearly burst at the seams! Once they were all moving, he calmed down quite a bit, with all that pent up energy now being spent as they walked down the hall, he and Xuza taking turns introducing the students to the various rooms that lined the hallways of the DWMA. Still, he seemed like he was in a hurry whenever they stopped for even a second, but he waited for them to be ready before moving onward.
However, his energy had completely faded once they reached Stein's office. Empty. Yata still explained who that office belonged to, but he carefully left out the part about the Professor being his mentor and the man who had taught him how to correctly use his abilities. If it wasn't for Stein, Yata would still be a part of the DWMA. In his last year, of course, but he still would have been walking these halls as a student... not as a graduate. He wouldn't have climbed all the way up to being a 3-star meister on his own. Yata Garasu, known for having fought solely with his wavelength ever since his first year in the academy, wouldn't have been fighting with his wavelength at all.
For the rest of the tour, the red haired teen seemed less eager about the tour. He would talk a little less often, but still give Violet and Viviene information on some of the rooms whenever it was his turn. His eyes were focused on the future before, at the chance of seeing Stein after so long and catching up with an old friend, but now they were focused solely on the present. Even with his excitement having been spent on the first half of their tour, Yata still was chipper. In fact, he seemed a lot more chipper now than before. Just not as quick in his movements. For the Three-Legged Crow, optimism often shines the brightest whenever his mind isn't rushed.
After the tour was over, Yata waved at Violet and Viviene as they headed for their class, and after a brief exchange with Xuza, was left in the middle of the hallway with a folder in his hand, smiling like an idiot. He had promised Xuza that he would take care of the twins, and decided to go take care of a couple tasks he needed to do around the school as he waited for their class to be over. The one place that he and Xuza hadn't introduced them to was the Training Field itself, and he planned to show them the way there after classes ended. Yata thought about heading home first, to grab some equipment, but he decided against it. There were probably some spare dummies lying around outside, and anything else they could need wouldn't be too hard to come by.
