 Radiant had been granted access to the castle. At first she was a little worried that she might not have been. After all, not too much time had passed since the attack from the changelings. At least it was still fresh in her mind. A shudder passed through her body as she remembered that event. Thank goodness the day was saved but sometimes she did have nightmares about being cocooned or encased in that green goop. As she passed the guards, she gave them a friendly wave.
The courtyard of the castle was something extraordinary. A minor dream of hers was to be able to do a photo shoot within the palace gates. She admired the beauty for a few minutes. It was energizing for some strange reason.

"No, I'm...."
He paused...
"I'll be fine.."
Shaking his head clear he turns towards her again.
"I'm sorry, did I wake you?"
Looking to the sky and the afternoon sun he sighed.
"What ever happened to the days when there were only dreams...."

You know I don't believe you, right? It's clear that something has been bothering you since we've met. Or are you always this stressed out? If that's the case, you should lighten up some, even if you are the Captain of the Royal Guard. Just remember, I'm here if you ever need to talk. Or vent, or even both...

Living in Ponyville sure makes for a lengthy daily commute, she thought, but at least the train ride is usually nice.
