Family History: Ginma's family are members of the leading branch of the Chishi clan. Members of the leading branch have been known for being able to grow very strong blades from their bodies's, Ginma's father was actually the former leader of the Chishi clan and was well known for his skill in kenjutsu and almost no one who fought him lived. Many people have tried taking out Ginma's father but miserably failed, until one day a survivor from the Hiroki clan met Ginma's father and defeated him. The fight between the two went on for a full day until that Hiroki defeated Ginma's father but lost his arm in the process.

History: After word was sent to the Chishi clan that the clan's leader has fallen, Ginma was only a sanin at the age of nineteen which was a clan record at the time, but when Ginma heard of the news he went and hunted down the Hiroki, the Hiroki told him that his village will attack Ginma's clan as well in fear that the Chishi may rise up and take over the village. Ginma then killed him within an hour. When Ginma returned, he started slaughtering Kumokagure members but left his clan unharmed, when the Raikage arrived Ginma immediately attacked him, however the Raikage used a fire release jutsu on him, burning the area around his right eye. Ginma did manage to escape however his right eye could no longer be used, so he traveled into a small village and ripped out the eye of a grey eyed man and made that eye a replacement for his dead right eye. Ginma has been gone for three years, yet there are reports about a man who wears a fox mask, a robe with a red cloud pattern on it, and bandages wrapped his entire body.
