A very simple and modest living ground for the members of the 1st Division. Here you can usually find squad members at rest socializing or taking a short nap.

Murasaki entered the Barraks and looked around. A few shinigami were sleeping while others were reading and talking amoungst themselves. She took a deep breath and walked over to her own cot. A few people stared at her while others whispered as she passed. For Murasaki had just been moved to the third seat of squad one, and so she had expected there to be talk about her. Her thoughts were realised as she finally made it to her cot and sat down on it. Murasaki had never fit in with people, she was to quiet and mysterious to make many friends with people in the squad so it was no surprise that people were shocked that she had been moved to third seat.
Either way, Murasaki closed her eyes and began to rellax. She tuned out all of noise around her until she could no longer tell that she was sitting in the Barraks. Instead, she was far away, in a cave of ice, looking at wolf who sat staring at her. She would stay like this until the captain returned from his meeting.

"If you make mistakes..."

Animus soon appeared at the entrance to his barracks, as he knocked on the two large wooden doors. Opening them up, Animus walked in, as he checked in on his squad, as he assessed the damage to his own division and how many of his own men fell casualty to the Taizai's surprise attack. He sighed, as he noticed many of his own subordinates injured, some with bandages, casts, neck braces and bruises over their bodies. This bothered Animus, seeing his own squad under such distress. Sighing, he told them all not to worry about what went down today and commended them for their bravery and valor in the face of this crisis. He then finished his speech, as they all stood up and gave him a standing ovation, as his words seemed to bring hope to his men. Then walking over to his 3rd seat Murasaki, Animus tapped her on her shoulder, and told her, "Hey Murasaki, you got a second?"

Murasaki opened her eyes to the tap on her shoulder and looked to see her captain standing there. "Captain Yamamoto sir." She stood and bowed respectfully to her captain. He asked her if he could speak to her for a moment and she nodded. "Yes sir." She wondered what it was the captain had come to speak to her about. Was it about the meeting?

Animus bowed back in a respectful manner to Murasaki and asked her for a favor. "Please Murasaki, call me Animus. Besides, I need to ask for a favor if you could do that for me. Being that the soul society has been attacked today, I need you to keep an eye on the 1st division while I'm gone. It doesn't mean that you'll hold the same power as myself, but that you'll be placed in charge of the division while I'm gone. Think you could do that for me?" Smiling, he waited for her response.

"...then you know well that your trying."

Murasaki's eyes widened a bit. The Captain wanted her to watch over the squad while he was away? She would definatly try her best. "Yes Ca- I mean, Animus. I shall watch over the squad." She tried to smile back at him although smiling had never been something she was use to. "May I ask how long you will be gone?"

"Well the time that I'll spend away while taking command of the advance force towards those Taizai will be as long as the call of duty demands me to be away from my men." Chuckling, he then smiled and told her, "Hey, I'm pretty sure that you'll do fine though while I'm gone. Just make sure that everyone here gets healed and returns to a healthy physical condition before they resume their duties as soul reapers." With that, he got up and gave her a pat on the back before walking out of his squad's barracks, before heading over to his room getting prepped up for the counter offensive against the Taizai.

Murasaki nodded and bowed to her captain as he left. She then thought to herself. 'Well, I better prove myself...I can do this...' She looked around the room and began to patrol it a bit. She tended to anyone who needed help and then when everyone was situated, she took a seat back on her cot. She kept a watchful eye on everyone as she centered herself once again. She was definatly going to need the strength from her zanpakuto to make sure she did not fail her Captain.

Murasaki had been patroling the squad when she saw a hell butterfly float into the squad. She immediatly headed to the captains assembly hall.
