I just started playing gaia again after a 3 year hiatus and I really want to learn how to invest/sell/buy and profit from the Gaia Marketplace. Therein lies a problem...I KNOW NOTHING :C so I was hoping sincerely for some professional advice, tips, strategies, etcetera..
P.S
Im Economically Illiterate and only have 35k to work with a this juncture in time emotion_8c

You could sit around the Just Added Items section of the MP and hope to find a misprice, but I find it much easier to go to the exchange and haggle with people to get low prices! Even with 35K, you should be able to make some sort of profit!

First and foremost: to make gold, you need to have gold. And the more gold you have, the easier it is to make more. This is absolutely fundamental.
We've actually got a guide [link] written by Absolute Brilliance about how he won our Rags to Riches contest a while ago. It's a bit old, but it has a few good tips on what to look for when exchanging. Also, there's a guide floating around from THG ninja in the Guides forum by Jace Quin about exchanging [link]. It's a ginormous guide and very comprehensive; it goes through everything you want to know about how to start earning gold through exchanging/vending. It feels really weird advertising something outside of this guild as Crew xp but that's just a sign of how damn good it is. Read it and never regret it.
