Swordsmen
Job Description: A swordsman is a person versed in the art of the sword. The root of the English word "swordsman" follows from the word gladiator, a Roman term for the professional fighters who fought against each other and a variety of other foes for the entertainment of spectators. The word gladiator itself comes from the Roman word gladius, meaning "a sword".
Swordsmen In One Piece: Nearly every crew/organization has a swordsman within it. A skilled swordsman is a valuable asset to a crew, and swordsmen are often found in positions of high respect, such as a first mate.

Chef
Job Description: Chefs are people who cook for passengers or crewmates on ships, or cook for customers in restaurants. All pirates can be hungry, so many of them need a chef to cook food to fill their belly. Marine bases and Marine ships need them to feed the soldiers to keep them healthy. Commercial ships or cruise ships require them to feed the passengers
For any character, particularly those traveling out to sea such as a pirate or a marine, the ability to feed themselves is a necessary aspect for survival. While it can be easy to get food, there are many problems presented: how to eat it, the edibility of certain artifacts (including the meat and plants on the mainland and the sea food in the ocean), means of preparation and, for the longer voyages, means of storage and rationing to allow the entire crew to survive between destinations.
The purpose of a chef in the crew is to maintain edibles and crew survival between points. A good cook knows about the basics of all food taken on board the ship and the means to prepare it into something that can allow the crew to have something to eat. This cook also has a knowledge of the edibles and what to and not to eat on a voyage. Cooks also have a key knowledge of the nutritional value of what to eat, allowing for the maintenance of good health of the crew and preventing common sea problems such as scurvy, making them responsible for maintaining the health of the crew, seconding only to the doctor. In fact, to a skilled cook, even the most rudimentary of ingredients can become the most wondrous and nutritious of meals. Finally, a cook is also the key behind the maintenance and stockpiling of food from the voyage and maintaining rations. While they are able to get their supplies from multiple sources, they are in charge of keeping watch on how much of what they have and making sure the crew gets enough both to allow for health and to make sure enough food is held through the journey.

-Fry Chef Slam: Grabbing an enemy by the back and somersaulting in the air trying to grab an opponent and slam them to the ground hard Rank of Use: Deckhand/Recruit
-Tenderizer: Repeatability striking an enemy with leg or arm on the same spot over 7 times to hurt an enemy bad. Rank of Use: Deckhand/Recruit

Weakness -Not feeding crew can make for an unpleasant time -If more then one cook is on board have to make sure duties are shared -Chef's are not meant to fight full scale battles and can be over whiled

Navigator
Job Description: A navigator is the person onboard a ship responsible for the navigation of the vessel. The navigator's responsibilities include planning the journey, advising the captain while en route, and ensuring that hazards or obstacles are avoided.
A navigator is the member of the crew who is the most knowledgeable about the world as it is and is crucial for the determination of course and direction when traveling. A good navigator has a skilled understanding of tools such as maps, compasses and sea charts that are able to not only travel through the sea but use the sea to their advantage in whatever direction they are headed. While not typical, many navigators have the knowledge of cartography, giving them the ability not just to read maps but to create their own maps of their journey, taking the knowledge that they pick up and using it to create guides for others from crewmates to other people in other parts of the world to know and understand what they are entering when in a certain area.
While many navigators must have basic knowledge and ability to use the common tools and abilities of their trade, they are also required to pick up on new matters that make traveling across the seas easier and better. In particular, navigators traveling through the Grand Line must gain an acculmation with the Log Pose, the only known compass that can travel through this part of the world. Due to its intricate and delicate nature and its special attributes such as coordinating with an island's magnetic field and the ability to point in directions not normally known for travel (such as the sky or the depths of the ocean), navigators must come to grips and understanding the nature both of this compass and of the world upon which the Grand Line is part of and assist in allowing the rest of the crew to make necessary adjustments in their ship so they can follow the desired path. Without an active navigator, particularly in the Grand Line with an understanding of the Log Pose, journey becomes much more difficult leading to the crew getting lost, like Brook once he revived, or coming across unexpected matters whether or not they are already mapped out.
In One Piece, navigators are the most crucial members of a ship, especially when traveling the Grand Line. Whenever a member of a crew, be it pirates or marines, is seen with a Log Post tied to their wrists, their position as their respective crew's navigator becomes immediately evident, since Log Posts are one of the most crucial tools of a navigator. A ship is only as good as the navigator that directs it. Otherwise, the ship will be damaged or shipwrecked by unforeseen obstacles. Unlike other members of crews, such as captains, doctors or chefs, navigators aren't formally introduced. Characters that are classified as navigators are rare, despite how important they are to the ship. Currently, the most well known, and arguably the best navigator in the One Piece world is Nami.

Doctor
Job Description: A doctor, or "physician", is a person, or animal (as in the case of Tony Tony Chopper), who practices human biological medicine
Doctors are relatively essential members of any crew, whether it be Pirate, Marine or any crew in between. One who is skilled in medicine and health care is necessary in order for the crew to survive to harshness of the sea. Doctors are usually required to heal wounds from battles, or prepare medicine for sick members.
In terms of Luffy's crew, the issue of having a doctor was first brought up in the Arlong arc, when the doctor of the town, Dr. Nako, said they really needed a doctor, after patching up Zoro's wounds. Luffy said it was a good idea, but they needed to find a musician first.
After the Drum Island arc, Tony Tony Chopper joined the crew as the ship's doctor (although, Luffy originally wanted him because he was a "cool monster that can change into seven forms"; Sanji joked saying he was the "emergency food supply"). Since then, Chopper has fulfilled his duty as a doctor, patching up wounds from battle, and using his knowledge of medicine to the crew's advantage.

Archaeologist
Job Description: An archaeologist is a particular type of historian who ventures out into the field to find ancient ruins and study them first-hand. They are interested in the cultures of lost civilizations. They work to uncover things lost beneath the earth over time, and are eager to make new discoveries about the past. Archaeologists serve a most invaluable role of piecing together the development of countries, people, and cultures.
In the real world, archaeologists are praised for their work. Often they employ locals to act as guides and labor from nearby villages close to the place they are digging up. Many countries like Egypt thrive on the efforts of their work over the years.
Other countries may approach the idea of allowing archaeologists into an area for fear that they are spies working for other governments
Archaeologist In One Piece: In One Piece, the World Government does not mind archaeology taking place. However should any archaeologist (or person at all) research the Void Century or the Poneglyphs, they risk being sent to jail or killed, and if not captured, a very high bounty may be placed on their head.
Ohara Island boasted the most famous archaeologists in the world, and their Tree of Knowledge held the history of countries from around the world. They were eventually destroyed when the World Government found out they were researching forbidden histories; all save Nico Robin, who had a bounty put on her head as a result of her escape from death, were killed.
Most people in One Piece seem uninterested in the past and are unaware of the Void Century. Archaeologists are not completely scorned by people (unless they research the forbidden histories, then they are considered evil) around the world. However, due to the Ohara incident there appear to be few archaeologists left, as well as a combination of all of the above factors, means that very few crews have archaeologists as they are not essential. However archaeologists are far from useless, since with their knowledge and experience, finding ancient treasures become much easier. An example is when Robin discovered where the "Lost City of Gold" was in one day, something Enel took a long time to accomplish.
Although many were shown, the only archaeologists that were named aside from Robin are her mentor Professor Clover and her mother Nico Olvia.
* Though Robin's role on the ship seems a little odd, it was not unheard of for there to be at least one crew member who was knowledgeable on the value of items such as jewels, other treasures or even merchant cargo, along with knowledge on where they originate from. In raids and attacks on others, time along with carry capability of both a ship and its crew would have limited what items the pirates could steal, having someone with knowledge on the most valuable of any given set of items would have proven invaluable to any pirate crew.
Abilities/Skills/Techniques: -Pressure Point: Using your ability to avoid attacks can push pressure points on the body of your opponent to disable them for a period of time (3 posts) Rank of Use: Deckhand/Recruit
-Attack Value: Can constantly avoid and counter attack an opponent were there the weakest and you know were there weakest because of skills for the class Rank of Use: Deckhand/Recruit
-Time Keeper: Using avoiding skill when being attacked can constantly distract opponent making them miss you or avoid being hit by there attacks by any means like snapping in there ear after an avoid or talking to them behind there backs ect. Rank of Use: Deckhand/Recruit

Weakness -No physically strong -can only "sense" attacks from about 3 people at a time max

Shipwright
Job Description: A Shipwright is a carpenter who works specifically on ships. They are responsible for the building and the repair of the ship. Most pirates needed them for repair and general maintenance of their ships. Other ships often had them as well.
Shipwrights In One Piece: The very first shipwright to appear in the series was Yainu Nugire; who was a shipwright for the Black Cat Pirates three years ago. He was hypnotized to believe that he was Kuro as Yainu resembles Kuro. He was executed in Shelltown
The second shipwright to appear was an golden Fishman named Kaneshiro who appeared as a common background character in the Arlong arc. He served as Arlong's shipwright.
During the Jaya arc, the Straw Hat Pirates noticed that the Going Merry was falling apart, but it's not until after the Skypiea arc at the beginning of the Davy Back Fight arc that Luffy decided to recruit the shipwright for the crew.
When they arrived at Longring Longland Island they met Foxy. Luffy wanted to find a shipwright from his crew of 500.
The Fanged Toad Pirates have an unnamed shipwright. Sonieh and Donovan are also shipwrights. Luffy did not chose either.
They arrived at Water 7, famous for it's shipwright business and all the great shipwrights.
At Water 7, Nami, Usopp and Luffy journey to Dock 1 to meet the Galley-La shipwrights and their president Iceburg. They tried to get the Going Marry repaired but the ship was irreparable so the Straw Hat Pirates were faced with the tough decision that they either sink with the ship or buy another ship.
Meanwhile, Usopp wandered off with 200,000,000 and got mugged by the Franky Family, who's leader is Franky (the future shipwright for the crew). Back at the Franky House, Franky and his family celebrated the theft of the 200,000,000 and prepared to leave, but the wounded Usopp broke in and clashed with Franky and his family. Usopp was beaten up by Franky and his family before being throwing him out. Franky then left with the Square Sisters to St Poplar Island to buy the Adam Wood.
After Sanji, Luffy, Zoro, and Chopper raid the Franky House to avenge Usopp (who is laying on the ground outside the Franky House), Luffy made the sorrowful decision to purchase a new ship. This decision enraged Usopp so he later quit the crew and dueled Luffy over the ship.
Meanwhile, Franky returned from St Poplar only to see his house in ruins. Enraged, he swore to fight Luffy, which he does the next day. During the Water 7/Enies Lobby arc many thing begin to happen so the search for the shipwright was put on hold while Luffy and his crew set out to rescue Robin. Musician
Job Description: omeone who preform music, sings a song and would often use musical instruments
Musicians are thought of as an optional crew member compared to the more crucial jobs held within a crew. A musician is not necessarily needed for a successful journey of a pirate or of others both on land and sea. However, a musician is usually brought along for one purpose: keeping up the spirits and the romantic hope of a crew alive and lively. Due to the length of a journey, traveling ones, particularly pirates, become bored and frustrated easily, living with the monotony of their job and trying to keep their sanity when not working and when they have yet to arrive at the next destination. A musician eases this monotony by lifting the mood of all whom listen and allowing them to go on, whether or not they like the songs that they sing. This member is usually skilled in one or a variety of music-making methods, from singing to playing various instruments to leading a crew in a group song.
