We have an emergencey to announce and discuss. In America, there had been incidents that the government hab been trying to pass the bills SOPA, PIPA, TPPA, ACTA, etc,. But now were facing a new bill CISPA. Another SOPA wannabee that allows the US government to fully access our privacy. That includes texting, emails, blogs, community sites (including this place) and not only they can monitor what's going on, they collect it, without our consent! They say that thiese bills help protect us from possible terrorism and protect copyrighted materials and hunt down piracy. But here's where it all goes wrong. This means our profiles with the stuff we love owned by other companies and artists like me who draw pictures with copyrighted characters (fan-art and fan-fiction) would be concidered illegal. The sites would be censored by the government and the person would face real jail time and finded without a fair trial. It can happen to any of us. And just because some of you members are not US citizens, that dosen't mean this dosen't apply to you. The US agents can hunt you down no matter which country you live in. They go beyond their juristiction just to get you just like they did to that guy in New Zealand, (yes, the guys who ran Megaupload) can be arrested, fined, and locked up and have their freedom taken away while these old, arrogant, hypocritical politicians and agents get rich off of it.
