I am titanium you shoot me down, but I won't fall I am titanium!" ..::Encore::.. Encore jumped at the noise, although she didn't appear scared, only startled; she was taught to fight when she was young after all, and with her skin, she often forgot that was wasn't invincible. Although curious to check out the source of the odd noise she obediently scooted over to Nikolai's side. He had his weapon drawn, so she clutched tightly on to her spear, tip-toeing and attempting to peer over the long tall grass; "Is it a wolf?" That was the first thing the girl thought of, although she had only seen wolves in forests before. Maybe it was a wildcat or a bear. Evermore curious, she tip-toed a little more. Out Of Character:

♩ Seeker of Truth ♩ "I do not know, but stay close." Soon enough, the wolf-like beast made the first move. Nikolai aimed and fired right into one of its eyes. It can't fight if its blind. However, it looked like it wasn't alone because soon enough, three more showed up "Damn... I hope I have enough arrows to take them all down." he fired at every one that approached them. if there were more to this pack, it may pose a problem for them. ♬ Where am I?: Hymn Meadow

I am titanium you shoot me down, but I won't fall I am titanium!" ..::Encore::..  Encore nodded and moved backwards a little, so she was close to Nikolai, who shot a wolf in the eye. It seemed to be effective at first, but more wolves appeared, apparently a pack had been stalking them. Nikolai managed to take out a few, but it was hard to tell how many of them may be lurking in the tall grass. Cautiously, the child moved forward, staff in her hands ready to defend and attack, surprisingly not scared, only worried for her friend's safety. She had been trained to kill after all, so a few wild animals didn't bother her too much, and she had never known pain due to her alloy skin, save for the time she had been put in water and frozen by her father. Spying a wolf creeping towards her, fangs bared and ready to attack, she walked over and struck it hard around it's head, causing the wolf to whimper loudly and then fall to the ground, seemingly dead, or at least unconscious. Feeling much safer now that she knew that she could handle these wolves, she looked back to her companion checking he was safe, before attacking several other wolves that were lurking in the grass. They were safe now. She turned to Nikolai, concerned that maybe a wolf had gotten past her; "Are you okay?" Out Of Character:

♩ Seeker of Truth ♩ It wasn't long until Nikolai ran out of arrows, but luckily all the creatures were take cared of, or so he believed. he put away his bow as he turned to Encore "Da, I am all right." He was quite impressed at the way she fought. Then again, she was a magitech weapon. Unaware that he didn't strike a wolf at its fatal spot, it jumped up and bit him on the shoulder. The last screamed in pain as he fell to the ground while the beast sank its fangs deeper into his flesh. ♬ Where am I?: Hymn Meadow

The last wolf seemd to come out of nowhere, fast enough for even Encore to miss her first attack against the creature as it sunk it's teeth inro Nikolai's shoulder who was now screaming. In a milisecond she assessed the situation, and hit the wolf hard on the head on the temple, a fatal blow which made it slump into the grass, hopefully dead. Panicked, she rushed over to Nikolai and stared at the wound hopelessly, having no clue what she could do. She wasn't built for this, she wasn't a healer- the best idea she could think of was a bandage, but she only had the clothes on her back and her staff. Doing the only thing she knew, she haphazardly tore a long length of cloth from her dress, and attempted to tie it around Nikolai's wound, making sure it was in place with a childishly tied knot. Gently, as not to hurt her friend, she took his good arm and pulled him to his feet, tugging him towards the fence; "Let's get out of here..." Out Of Character:

♩ Seeker of Truth ♩ As he was wincing in pain, Nikolai could see Encore beating away the wolf-like creature. As a half machine or whatever, it would make sense that she was stronger than an average human. he let her tend to his wound, but if they didn't move soon, the smell of blood could attract another predator. "I hope we can find a local town or something. If we do not, we will be in big trouble. Sorry I got caught in the attack. it must be nice having skin like steel, you have no fear of getting cuts." ♬ Where am I?: Hymn Meadow

The only one she could see was out of this field, so silently and anxiously they reached the fence. Looking at it Encore realised they had a problem; was Nikolai going to be able to get over it whilst wounded? She hopped over the fence easily herself and then beckoned for Nikolai to try and do the same. Out Of Character: Sorry, totally forgot about this rp sweatdrop

♩ Seeker of Truth ♩ Nikolai spotted a fence in the vast field. Were they close to civilization? He surely hope so, or he might not make it. he did his best to climb the fence, but collapsed when he made it to the other side. "Damn... If only we had a thread and needle, then I could close the wound. hell, I would cauterize it if I have to, anything to stop the bleeding." he was too tired to keep moving. And if she can't carry him, closing the wound was their only option. ♬ Where am I?: Hymn Meadow

The brief glimmer of hope in seeing Nikolai climbing the fence quickly faded away when he collapsed as soon as he made it to the other side. Watching helplessly as Nikolai talked, she still didn't know what to do other than try to carry him. She was a fighter, a child, a humanoid, but not a doctor. Even now the long journey was beginning to wear her out, but she refused to quit just now. With staff in her one hand she bent down and pulled Nikolai up, so he was leaning against her back. To the odd girl, he wasn't too heavy, but she was still a small child and even she struggled a little with his size as they began to move, Encore dragging him across what seemed to be a small expanse of grass that somehow seemed to go on forever. About half an hour passed and Encore was just about to stop to rest, and then she saw it; a small town. Ten more minutes of this and they would be there... Out Of Character: That's fine I've been busy-ish myself recently. Fair warning I have no idea what to do with Nikolai and Encore atm so sorry if my posts are a bit blah.
